On Maestra: Strings of Truth Mar 26, 2024
All the hype for an average drama. Really not that good. They put Queen of Tears on the back burner for this nonsense. Compare the ratings between the two. Queen of Tears is destroying Maestra.. Yet, it had to take a back seat.

I’m sure you are only doing it because you have to so cry somewhere else!
So, in your opinion, getting wealthy allows you to skip giving back to the very society that made you wealthy. He can keep the wealth, he earned it. However, he should give back to society as others have, Ok Taex Yeon, for example. Didn't have to serve. Then got turned down when he volunteered. Then had back surgery so he could and would be accepted. That is a man.

I said it should be postponed. I still think that, but........just know that actors get paid for a drama the week after the last episode of the drama has aired. So, this means that all the actors in Resident Playbook will have to wait many months to be paid for their hard work. Just think, something that would have been aired in May, might have to wait for a start date of December or maybe even the following year! Then everybody must wait another 8 or 9 weeks after that to be paid! All because of greedy doctors! What a shame.

looks like she didn't :)
She is not doing anything in Korea and hasn't for 6 years. Now she is going to do a Japanese drama. Still out of the picture in Korea.

She must be doing well with advertisements, because she hasn't done a project in 2 years.

In December 2020, a law that grants a two-year extension for K-pop and K-entertainment artists was passed. This…
The so-called “BTS law” will allow K-pop entertainers who have received government medals for their domestic and global cultural contributions — like the Order of Cultural Merit, which BTS received in 2018 — to apply for deferment.

It bothers me that these guys put it off for as long as they can, while thousands of other citizens fill the gap. Not to mention the 30,000 foreign soldiers who travel halfway around the world and help protect Korea. They give up home and family to do so. And then these "elites" put off serving for as long as they can.

I know you have to recieve a merit award from the government for that law to apply. Right now, BTS are the only ones with that. Certainly others apply for deferments and do get them. The BTS problem obviously has been solved. Na In Woo has been a sore spot too me since "River Where the Moon Rises." How he was treated (like a savior) compared to the lead actress who shot the entire drama twice. The way it was put....NIW saved the drama....KSY will reshoot. She was given no respect, he was touted as the savior from heaven. I have not forgotten. And he just ran with it, lol. Military service will be good for him. Maybe he will grow up.
