In December 2020, a law that grants a two-year extension for K-pop and K-entertainment artists was passed. This…
You mean the BTS law. And that is not for all artists.

I guess earning about a million dollars for this drama is not enough of a treat.
I don't mind him getting A-list pay.

So tell me why you filmed Holssi in an LA slum. Why don't you film your videos in the slums of the major cities of Korea? Why do you think it is ok to come to my country to make tons of money; and then show it in a bad light. Much loss of respect here.

Hasn't been called yet because he is probably on another of several postponements. You don't get to be almost 30 and not "called" unless you have. And, he doesn't have to wait, he can enlist at anytime.

Some of us have served and some of us have served for an extended period. Having served in Korea for 120 months, yes, 10 years, I take offense to those who put it off or try to get out of it. It's just 18 months. Just go do it!

Nope. You are thinking of what they call the BTS law. You have to win a national merit award, which only BTS has. Not all enteertainers are allowed to wait till 30. This does not apply to Na In Woo.

No, you are not paying attention. You have it backwards. I started with the postponement and later added the money because reward was mentioned. Point is, he's almost 30. He should have gone in by 28. He pushed it back this far, and now wants to push it back further.

Willing has nothing to do with it. He has to serve.I have a problem with pushing it back to the last minute and then asking for more time.

All males between the ages of 18 and 28 must perform mandatory military service. He is way past 28, still not in. It's funny how these celebrities seem to think military service should revolve around THEIR schedule.

Supposed to go in by the time you are 28. He pushes it to 30 and then asks for an extension. I have less and less respect for him.

I’m sure you are only doing it because you have to so cry somewhere else!
Laugh all you want. I served in Korea from 1981 to 1991. I was in the military for a total of 16 years. He has an exemption. So did another fine actor. He volunteered anyway. This guy? Nope. So he doesn't get my respect. He has dual citizenship. He is a Korean. However, he chooses not to serve the country that has given him so much wealth.
