Ive checked the net worth of your three examples. Your first example is worth 20 million. Same as Son Ye Jin. Hyunbin is worth a million more. The other two are worth 3.5 million and 1.5 mlion. Many drama actors are far richer than that. Just watched Cassiopeia with Seo Hyun Jin. Fabulous movie. But its only grossed $140,000 so far. What could they reisticly paid her for that?

I hope she comes back too, but she needs to stay far away from HYBE.

I wad about to adk that. And how? What I can tell, most Korean movies only gross a few million dollars. The actors can't make that much. But dramas.... they get paid a lot per episode.....many at 200,000 dollars an episode. You do 16 or 20 and that is a ton. I don't know, but I put JSM at about $100,000 an episode. If true, she got 2 million for the drama. I say that because Seo Yea Ji got $173,000 per episode for It's OK to Not be OK. They can't be getting that for movies, can they?

Not blaming Go for anything. I think I. More upset with how fans so easily jumped ship and are all excited about Go. Almost no one had said anything about JSM. Those who have are trying to tell me that JSM will take a support role in THIS drama! I find that laughable. Senior leading ladies don't take demotions to support roles in the very same drama they just lead for 20 episodes. I will always think that JSM got the shft here. And it probably is money.

She is a senior actress who had a lead role, got replaced, while her ml gets to continue on. This seems great for everybody but JSM. I dont see how this is a positive experience for her. AOS didnt put her on the map . And this director has done this very same thing in the past. I know that everybody will be fine down the road. But it still smacks of betrayal too me. At least somewhat. And I still doubt that JSM agreed to ALL of this upfront. 😀

Ypu just stated what Ive been saying. JSM signed on to do a 1 season drama. The rest happened after. Go gets season 2 and JSM gets kicked to the curb as a reward for helping out a friend. I really dont think she knew. And her reward for helping, basically saving that show is to get replaced. I'm sorry, still looks like a slap in the face too me. Like I said, step up for Go, step doen for JSM. And, of course, she can't say anything publicly. Anyway, that is what I believe. And the fact that JSM had said almost nothing leads me to continue to believe that. How much income did JSM just lose fot not having those 10 episodes?

I find it hard to believe that a seasoned actress signs for a drama knowing that the ml will get 30 episodes while she will only get 20, and be replaced by a rookie...in effect turning herself into a supporting actress. Im sure it's a step up for Go, but its a step down for JSM. I dont think she knew about season 2 initially. In het statement she said, "Well, I did sign for 1 season. " Not, "I signed for season 1." I think she completed the 1st season because she signed and she had too. She hadnt said anything now.

I believe she signed for one season, because there was only one season at the time. I don't think they ever offered her season 2. And all these season 2 fans have just put JSM out of their minds. That's frustrating. Chill? Maybe later.

Whatever. So typically Korean. Male lead gets 30 episodes, female leads only get 20 and 10. A bit of disparity there. He gets paid for all the episodes. They do not. And this hooray for Go? Man, how come nobody gives a shit about all the hard work JSM gave. This show would have withered on the vine if she didn't come in and save it. Now? Oh well, see ya.
