I find PXR's voice in this series too noisy and she talks so fast. The ML is not compatible with PXR. Thanks to CXX. He killed every possible male actors to pair up with PXR.

Guess what? I am now in love with the series.

LCY is a human being, after all, even though he is a cold-blooded killer.

XF is his Achilles' heel.

In the novel, she died in the Li Empire. Who could take away the body except LCY? Pei Zhao's visit to her grave is another clue that LCY repatriated XF's body to Western Liang.

Otherwise, how did Pei Zhao know where she was buried in Western Liang?

These are not explicitly detailed in the novel but only LCY could give up XF's body as she was his official wife.

The first scene in Episode 1 takes me back to GBMP.
