I am glad this series has ended. It is a cheap budget tv drama. I find it so boring.

You must have not seen Yang Mi's Three Lives Three Worlds. You'd change your mind once you have seen the drama.

Hua Zhi's side stories have made me skip a few scenes. It's entertaining but not as exciting as the old C-dramas.

Life is pretty miserable without good C-dramas. K-dramas can never beat C- costume dramas.

The Chinese government's condition ie. no more dragging scenes and all series are confined to 40 episodes. So, scriptwriters and directors need to be supergood on a clear and concise and smooth dramatisation of a novel.

Unlike the previous C-dramas with 80 episodes.

It's OK as this is just a side story. In the novel, there are more palace scenes involving the inner court.

He is evil but a good administrator. His people live well but his ministers are always living in fear.

The side stories are boring. Like today's. I just skipped.
