I finished SEL and even though the ending wasn’t bad, it was not bftb. This will always be my feel good drama, it gave me a full happiness from all the casts, no unnecessary deaths.

Yes, and I think the director is just trying to give us a little realistic mixed in, because in war lives will be lost. They over did it, but we get that the true hero was the ones that were killed., and all that joined forces, not just the ml himself.

I agree! She helped them so much through out the journey, she was cute and not the annoying jealous 2nd fl. Felt so bad for the 2nd ml. Situ Hong deserves a more vicious death personally instead of getting to die somewhat of a hero.

Yes, lots of annoying characters. Xu Kai is the only reason I finished this drama. It starts to pick up mid way, so don’t let the annoying ones discourage you too much.

I agree! Aside from them killing almost everyone off, and Yang Bo’s ending, ( that made me cry btw). I would’ve given it a better rating.

Omg it redeemed itself! I’m some what satisfied with the ending! A bit rushed, but more fl and ml sweet screen time at the end! ❤️❤️❤️
I get that the heroes were the ones that were killed, but it was so ucalled for, imo, just to save the happy ending for the main leads.

I just love that it doesn’t really follow the usual Xianxia patterns with the bad heavenly realm! Not to mention those jealous girls that hurts the fl to get the ml.! I love that it’s funny and unexpected at times! Lol!

It does. The middle is a little hard because of the misunderstanding and they will go into a little intro of the dark aura and the fox clan to tie into other parts of the story. You’ll eventually get more clarification on what the ml did for fl to show how deeply he loves her.
