itβs crazy how we had completely different experiences watching this. Your review almost makes me want to rewatch…
Honestly, it's worth the rewatch to catch all of the subtle expressions Yoh gives. He gives these gentle fleeting smirks that clue you in to his mischievous side.
Thank you, very perceptive review and a welcome antidote to the uncomprehending reviews by confused snowflakes…
TIL about "amae", thank you! This is exactly Yoh in this series, with a twist of masochism. π I'm interested in the Tumblr article I'll try to find Ariel's post.
Just my opinion, but I'm thinking to squash all those rumours of PSJ being a chauvinist, he needed a role with the dynamic his character has with Han So Hee's character.
In episode 7, when she said, "We can disagree and be on the same side. If I can't freely express my difference in opinion with you, then I think the real problem is your ego." I thought.. oop, "I wonder what the real PSJ would think of a woman talking to him like that". hehe
Han So Hee's acting is TOP TIER. I was in SHAMBLES when she realized the creature was really her mother. And when her mother protected her from the gun shots... that was such a beautiful scene.
my god how the ratings dropped, this is far better than that good day to be a dog drama ngl
I feel like the airing schedule is what's killing Good Day to Be A Dog. After all the waiting and only getting one episode I light-weight lost interest in the storyline. The cliffhangers lost the hanginess because I no longer cared and had to re-watch to figure out what was going on.
