Yeah I was procrastinating it for a while too and even once I started it, I couldn't even finish part 2/4 lol. I guess I'm just not in the mood for it and unfortunately the writing quality seems to have gone down, but maybe it's too early to judge. And you're right, even though some parts of this show is predictable, there's always that wild card of wtf will they do next ahah.
I mean, I didn't say he isn't attractive because that would be a lie; Boeing/Mond is very good looking and indisputably attractive in this role lol. That being said, I'm not attracted *to* him so after the first couple of seconds of seeing him on screen each time, his visuals don't really have any effect on how I'll interpret his character. His looks aren't doing anything to blind me to his character's personality or actions which at the moment aren't great and don't make much sense! I'm just saying this because I know that in the past I've been very blind to a character's, well character, just because the actress is very pretty heh.... Nina Dobrev from TVD😊🫠. I haven't watched the most recent ep yet, but I don't feel like Sand would stoop that low. That being said, while he's pretty straightforward with boundaries, I don't think he'll be harsh when rejecting Boeing's advances. For sentimental reasons and because he has empathy and is actually a sweetheart... which will definitely make Ray feel some sort of way ahah. I really hope that they give us a bit more insight or backstory on him (but not too much bc we only have two eps left!) since right now, to me, he just seems like a huge, obvious and poorly concealed plot device meant to stir up the drama; might I even say be the ep11 curse.

Did you not see that I had said that these were my *personal* thoughts? I had never said that I'd thought that it was a bad choice and that they'd suck in these roles. I'm not dissing either of them nor am I lacking any faith in their acting abilities. I was just saying that in my opinion, I would have thought that the reverse would've been a better fit. I do think that they'll do a good job no matter what but I think that Fourth as Ida and Gem as Aoki would've stood out more and differentiated their individual characters and performances a lot more from their MSP days. Gemini's so naturally weird and goofy; he's silly, playful and unserious, I would've liked to have seen him lean into that side of himself in his acting more and his microexpressions especially considering the genre of humour. The weird yet oddly lovable and endearingly awkward guy is totally Gem and completely within his capabilities! I also think his physical humor would have also been a great additional layer! Just because real life Gemini is more like Aoki and irl Fourth's more like Ida (introverted) doesn't mean there isn't space for them to delve into nuances! I actually think that that would be so interesting.
Honestly, Our Skyy2 for the most part was a train wreck anyways, there wasn't enough time for workshops or time spent on the scripts and even the filming was rushed til the very end; it was more so a novelty and fanservice to the fans to celebrate these series rather than serious and well planned quality content. So in turn, I don't think that series set the actors up/brought out the best performances out from some of the actors.
I thought that Fourth did a phenomenal job as Li Ming in MLC and was so fantastic at portraying the young character's multi layered internal struggles in such a subtle way- HIS fights with uncle Jim!!- which would've been really interesting and cool to see when theoretically applied to Ida's internal struggle in the OG My Love Mix-Up. I don't know how to explain it but despite Fourth being the one who's the most clumsy out of the two of them, his body language while acting seems to be more precise and purposeful which in the pilot trailer (yes, I acknowledge that it's the pilot trailer, it should only go up from here) was kind of distracting when he was supposed to be playing someone so awkward and uncoordinated at sports. On the other hand, Gemini has this naturally effortless aura and vibe to how he tends to carry himself.
Also: Gem as Cinderella 👗🥿 I have nothing against the boys playing in their current roles, as I'm excitingly waiting in anticipation for an official trailer from them, the assigned roles just weren't what I would have picked out for them. Our boys are both all-rounders so I can't wait to see their portrayals and what they bring to the table in this thai adaptation of My Love Mix-Up.

Well Pluto is being filmed by the same production company as Ploy's Yearbook which looks like they're filming right now and they're updating their instagram with bts quite a lot! I don't see why Pluto would get different treatment
Decided to drop this after ep9 but today people are saying ep10 was on par with ep1 and 2.... I'm not sure if I really care about the characters enough anymore since the ep8 and ep9 were so frustrating, boring and stupid. Should I give ep10 a shot? I'm conflicted.
