not yet ,but this is under snap25 production (ps i hate you, the jungle) so they would probably have the same…
Ah okay, I haven't seen either of those titles aha
Edit: I'm back and it seems like those two titles don't have any directors listed so while they may have the same person, that person doesn't have a page on mdl. So we might never know lol
I mean, I don't follow the game shows and project Alpha so I don't really have an opinion on that but for the other bit, I think it's too early to judge. If you check out a bunch of the newer generation of gmm's acting histories, a bunch of them have their first roles as main leads (the main one that comes to mind atm is Sea) ; it just seems like something they do now. Is it possible that they all have helpful connections? Yeah, no doubt but as long as they have actual talent I don't think it's that much of an issue since nepobabies/connections are a different issue that could be said for almost any industry. My thing is that while it's unfair, what's important is that they can hold their own talent wise and "earn" it, regardless of the order of receiving it. These kids are young, fresh out of high school so it's understandable that they might not have a lot under their belt. Lots of asian parents don't let their children work until they're out of school. The only reason Gemini, Fourth and Ford were featured in Bad Buddy was because they'd won it in the School Star thingy and had already signed with gmmtv.
It also seems to me that with this specific title, they're trying to replicate the magic that they'd happened upon with My School President; the characters, the angles, the comedy, the dynamics, etc... so getting young fresh faces makes sense and doesn't stray too far from that original "formula". I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you but all I'm saying is that there are so many other aspects involved that we're unaware of. I personally believe that we should wait until the final product, after all of the workshops and such, to see their talents and what gmmtv obviously sees in them- whether it be abilities or something else- before making our verdicts.
p'new jobs with gmmtv are so average and considering this is a college bl i have less expectations just hoping…
Yeah I'm just really hoping for mindless cute fluff. And well comedy, but I think my reaction was a bit too rash because I mixed up P'New's work and P'Tee's works up in my head. His works aren't very good but they're not nearly as bad as P'Tee's! Was not ready for another Step by Step or Hidden Agenda🫥. My bad.
Either way, low expectations but am hoping to be pleasantly surprised!🙏🏻
NOOOOO- P'New's the director??!! WHyyyY I apologize, I'm having an internal crisis right now. I tend to, more often then not, dislike a lot of P'New's previous directorials so I try to stay away from them; HOWEVER my two comfort ships as main leads (WS's debut ML roles as an official gmm couple)...... I guess I'll be giving his work another try
Check out the live stream of the 2024 Line Up! It's no longer live but you can rewatch it and it has all of the…
Ah I just reread your message and I totally had it backwards... Either way, I wish you luck! Btw the livestream will say that it didn't have closed captions but that's only because the subtitles are embedded into the video of the trailer. So gmmtv can't take them away😉
