Is this the type where watching it could (sometimes or most times) feel like a chore?
Curiosity got the better of me so I did end up watching it on double, maybe triple speed. And um you're not wrong.... lol There was so much uncomfortableness but all I've gotta say is why was there so much dancing? And it wasn't even good dancing🤣🤣
'Dangerous Romance', 'Hidden Agenda' and 'Only Friends' are all filming at the same time with '23.5' and 'Last…
Sigh, those ones were the show's that I was looking forward to the most. I had at least wished that they'd stagger them out so that I could have some sustenance😭

Now that it's over, I'd love to know what your thoughts are!? 🤣 From the basis of the other comments, it seems to have gotten worse? Can you confirm 😅😭😂
Originally we were supposed to get two seperate full length GLs in this Be Mine universe: Be My Baby and More & More (with Be My Sugar and Be My Boo potentially pending). TawanWinnie's (More & More) being a university GL and SiJaojay's (Be My Baby) being a office romance. Unfortunately due to reasons ie financial/funding, they've announced that we're only getting one full length series of 16 episodes for all four couples/stories. With each pairing assumingly only getting 4 episodes. I'm still happy that we're getting this series and that it's not full on cancelled but I was just looking forward to having at least two separate full length GLs with the uni best friends-to-lovers and office romance tropes. I was looking forward to getting to see each couple's development in depth but I guess that it was very ambitious
I haven't checked this page for like a month and the 8.1 rating has somehow went down to a 7.8... that's preposterous! This show at least deserves it's older previous rating of 8.2
Kong was there to create an issue that Put got him out of. And given the choice between MLM guy and actor ex boyfriend,…
Or he could've just been decisive or used common sense to get himself out of that situation. The Kong situation was obviously just to get Pat to warm up to Put again (or to feel guilty for not) with the unexpected tidbit of Jeng's wisdom but I really hate how now it's as if his choice is to choose who's the least worse out of the 3 love interests. Which is Jeng but it still takes the magic out of it lol
Why is your comment a spoiler? What am I missing? What is the mystery? 👀 🕵️♀️
Lol it's the moving in reverse that's the potential spoiler. Like where the storyline's going; some people (like me lol) can be super sensitive to spoilers. One whiff of what might happen and my brain takes off in ten million different directions and more times than not figures out the ending before it happens. Or even worse, you find a better possible ending and get too attached... So on behalf of all the crazy people like me, thank u @cpisnotacouple for your service 🫡
It's the stupid stuffed animal! Pat fell for the stupid stuffed animal. Aargh.
I feel like they were warning us with the ikea snow tigers scene. The guy's a child and can easily be swayed/bribed with stuffies lol. AND IT WORKED WTF
Well that 7.8 rating now seems to be more accurate lmao. That episode was something wasn't it? Dumb decisions, frustration and an overall drop in enjoyment levels. I'm really sad to say that I doubt that Step by Step will be able to recover from that. This episode, in my opinion, Pat's endearing youthfulness was switched out for something childish and almost bratty, at the oddest times. And did the production team forget to edit and add in music for one of the Ikea scenes? It made the scene feel so weird. There was something really off specifically with this episode along with JengPat's dynamics in it.
I honestly wouldn't have any problems with the plot and character flaws/choices, if done well. Which it was not... I was loving this series so much but now I don't even really care that there'll be a 2 week wait between episodes. For reference, my overall series rating went from 9.5 stars before ep6 and is now 8 stars after (I'm still not sure if that's too generous or not). It's safe to say that I am throughly frustrated and disappointed :/
