I haven't seen any of Krist's previous performances and I haven't looked into his alleged homophobic comments (after what recently happened to PondPhuwin I'll definitely be taking these rumors with multiple grains of salt and personally looking into the particular controversies bc that was ridiculous) so I'm not trying to be a hater but imo Krist's character Botkawi seemed very unlikable. I found him very delusional and dare I say selfish? And later on, his storyline seems to be giving the early 2000s staple of "I'm not like other girls", in the way that if you just show the world the real you, take down your ponytail and glasses, everyone will adore you. Lmfao ig that seems harsh but really that's what I felt.. maybe it's just me? My thing is that surely gmmtv knows about the people's mixed feelings about Krist in BLs, so why also make his character unlikable?? It doesn't make sense to me as those are not the best traits for your main lead to have anyways? Lol. Anyways, I really liked what we saw of Fluke Gawin's performance; I'm loving just how charming, charismatic and thoughtful his character seems! I'm excited to see him in the role, as well as Aou, Aye and Kob, as I do recognize them (and loved them) from previous shows. Overall even despite my first impressions of Botkawi, I'm still very cautiously optimistic and excited for this release and all of it's potential!
Also did anyone else think that the special effects look like he was taking a trip on mushrooms🍄 -coming from someone who's never done shrooms lmfao. This series was delayed a year and this is what they came up with? I can't 🤣
not to mention this was delayed (almost) 2 years, some cast members literally were in high school o just graduated…
