My thing is, if you're going to send your youngest son away and not his two older brothers, usually there'd be a big age gap between the two youngest boys right? While it's not right, the only thing that makes sense to me would be for the level of competency and development between the two of them to be huge enough to be considered an "inconvenience". However, it's been revealed that Phum and Khaofang are only a year apart and were quite close so that is what doesn't make sense to me. Phum being 4-5 and Fang being 6 when he got sent away doesn't make sense when he could've just hung around his older brothers. For example I understand that the care needs of a ten year old and a two year old are very different but in this case it just seems like they're just targeting him. And in my opinion, there is nothing horrible enough behaviourally to justify sending a four year old away; at that point it is just the patents' fault.
I'd say no, in my opinion. They're definitely two of the four main characters and a very main couple but from the framing right now they don't seem to be. Despite that, they do seem to be having the most progress as of right now so take that as you will. I'd say that the screentime, however, is pretty evenly divided between our 4 main leads
