About kissing, they did have a lot of dead fish kissing, very long standing still moments. Nobody kisses like…
I just got around to finishing CC so I'll tell you the age gap. Prem's a third year uni students for the whole series before the time jump so he's 20 or 21 while Samsi's revealed that he's been in university for almost a decade (9 years) which makes him 9 years older than Prem and 10 years older than Dynamite- since Dy skipped a year, not that that last point is important. Prem was saying in the finale that Samsi needs to tone the romance down until Pang graduates. High school. She was in high school the whole time, her introduction storyline being her losing her school fees. When she runs away from the cooking gang after the first round of the contest, she's in her high school uniform and then it was only later revealed that after the vague time jump of 'years' (in which TenPrem got engaged, married and Prem opened a restaurant) that Prem announces that Pang is *now* freshly graduated so Samsi must be feeling happy. That's an age gap of at least 13 years with Samsi being around 30 while Pang's 16; that's giving them the smallest possible age gap given the information provided throughout the series.
Ngl I really liked Samsi's character but this rushed romance came out of nowhere and was just unnecessary and gross imo. Especially considering that Prem, Samsi and Dy had been friends for three years already at the point of the competition and knowing how close Prem's friends are with his family as well. Samsi had probably first met Pang when she was <13. I know that she's the one who "initiated" it with her crush, that he's a family friend who's a good person but it still very much doesn't sit right with me; even if Thailand's age of consent is like 14. The only reason why it doesn't look so stark is because the actress Pim (Pang) is in her twenties and Dome's in his thirties. Such a weird choice.
The trailer actually seemed really good. I'm surprised and this series seems to have quite a few unique elements so I'll definitely be checking it out! I'm looking forward to it, hopefully it fulfills some of it's potential :)
Netflix clarification!! The rerun of the uncut version will be available on Netflix in Southeast Asia and Latin…
It should yes :D It said "reruns will be available on netflix" in the official subtitles which is similar to the situation the Only Friends had with the OneD app so that's what's insinuated. Plus that GMMTV tweet says that Netflix will "exclusively air 23.5" to SE Asia and Latin America countries, not that Netflix with exclusively air the uncut version.
