Same for c dramas rating always are high. Average dramas getting above 8+, and some of them quality of story wise is way less output. Compare to them this drama way better.

I am also newbie in the c dramas, one thing remember:don't blindly believe cdramas reviews and ratings. I am disappointed many of times because of that ratings. Sometimes, dramas with ratings above 8 can still be average or below average in all aspects.

Do Do Hee's family is filled with deceitful individuals, each one pursuing her money. It's possible that Cheon Sook may be connected to the death of Do Do Hee's parents. Her demise appears more suspicious, and there's an unusual aspect to it—she seemed to be hiding something even after her death. May be cheon sook killed her parents for the company.
Joo Seon Joon might be the hidden enemy of Do Do Hee, and he has some malicious intentions. The main lead's feelings develop very suddenly, especially the jealous part. The lead's relationship progresses expeditiously, and their feelings change to another dimension.
Honestly, it's an above-average drama, although some parts of the story lagged and dragged. Moreover, while the reviews and ratings are high, they create hype that doesn't reflect the full picture. The overemphasis on the second couple's relationship felt unnecessary and distracted from the main couple. Overall, the story is above average, but it lacks the sweetness that I was hoping for.
The last mystery between the Kang young Hwa and Do Ha revealed and villian also exposed. The Leads relationship has sudden U-turn showing recent events between them highly affected eachother mentally and physically, the fiery pit opened for them with proper ending.
If you love "Strong girl Do Bong Soon", i don't recommend to watch this, and that memory would stay as sweet. The legacy of "Strong girl Do Bong Soon" cannot continue on this second season or this Sequel.

I tired of ex-lovers to Lovers, love triangle, friends to lovers , childhood friend to lovers kinda trope. All these kind of tropes are widely used tropes. I am expecting something meaningful relationship between the leads other than love or shrink into common trope. I need to find ML marry or love another woman and he doesn't follow he same kinda path again.
I still find this drama somewhat predictable, especially in the lead characters' relationship. After breaking up in an inexplicable situation, they meet again after many years. Whether they become lovers again or not, if it follows the 'ex-lovers to lovers' trope, that's a big nope for me.
