I absolutely loved how this concluded, no complaints whatsoever. The last ep had an extremely well balanced anticipation, comedy, suspence and satisfaction! The plot twist gave me chills, how Boss went from being most powerful to being nothing, that was satisfying yet kinda horrifying to watch...
Scenes like J&J being in their own world while Boss is a second away from killing them, loved how Rosè broke down after the twist, zorzo's acting was good. And the sequence of Boss attempting to unalive, I as a viewer felt so many emotions. I initially felt that what he did is just the consequences of his actions, but then it was an easy way out for him. As the scene played out, it was so beautiful, even death won't accept him, he has to atone for his sins. The very last scene, silly, goofy J&J.
Despite the not-extremely-well-written-script, the actors really carried the series, not just YW, all of them had their good scenes.
I don't think I've watched a breakdown scene so well acted.... because War! The actors you are! I must give it to Yin too, his acting has improved so so much since LM! All the other actors also play their parts well.
But I need to say it y'all, they all deserve a better script because they are overflowing with potential. There I said it. 😭
Don't get me wrong tho, I actually like the way the series is moving right now, but there are few very visible plotholes and confusion about the story (I'm looking at the writers 👀), some viewers (like me), just think about it and move past it 🥲. Tbh the plot was fine even till the 9th ep, from 10th it became fast paced (seems inevitable, cuz they need to complete the story) but I am here for acting and they are doing it better than some of the BLs 🤐.
Joke's scenes were so painful to watch, now my eyes are also swollen p'war😭. The way he says his dialogues and comes so close to sobbing out (scene with Ama), man I can't I'll cry again....
And!! Just saw their fan meet tour destinations and dates!! Happy for them!!
Ngl I'm kinda confused about the ring situation....but what I'm getting is that now Boss is above everyone else and can do literally anything, which he couldn't before cuz he was still a underling. P'Nang and Boss being siblings was kinda surprising for me (maybe it was predictable for others but hey, I didn't see that coming...🤔), she helped Joke get the ring, to technically help Boss, so she's not the strongest character I hoped her to be. 😮💨 I hope they explain more about Boss being powerful "suddenly".
The episode 10 went by so fast and I'm still processing what the actual fudge happened in that 1hr.... because what was that🥹.
My opinion might sound weird....but I think masked behind the ring situation, the plot tried to convey the actual cruelty that takes place by the "people in power", the children taking on debts after their parents, people who could no longer survive the debt life either fleeing or choosing to unalive themselves, the previously influential people escaping the minute they are at a disadvantage because they have resources, and just the feeling of being helpless, that almost every character felt.
While Joke did try to ignore the consequences of his actions, he couldn't because he saw how it's affecting everyone around him. How he hoped for his happy future then his wrong decisions came back biting his ass😮💨, cuz honestly, I get that he wanted to free Jack but giving "ultimate power" to Boss of all people wasn't it, he didn't think it through, which I think is one of the character flaws🥲.
Carbon, wtf literally.
I stand by my opinion but I think the ring situation makes it kinda confusing and unrealistic but the portrayal of various events that happened in the episode were done really well.
Oh god, YinWar's acting is really something, the hospital sequence, Joke got to experience the happiness and then it was ripped away again. Jack feeling helpless, betrayed and just frustrated yet again after experiencing love and trust.
And I wanted to say this, Aran...boy, he better have something against his own father that will help take him down otherwise I don't really see the point of the character. He's just there hanging out. His character can have much more depth, hope that's in the next eps. Also I was looking forward to his backstory the most since the start eps...I hope we still get that.🥲🥹😭
But the thing is, I can't seem to get enough of this series, it may not make sense, may have quite a few flaws here and there, but it has me sat. I don't know it's just, there's so many things that's really good....and maybe the way I choose to interpret the scenes, I really enjoy seeing it. Every damn episode is just a short film, has so many elements and it keeps me curious till the next ep comes out. I really hope they can conclude the e-n-t-i-r-e laid out plot, properly. ❤️
Joke kissed like it was his last🫡 He really almost died stealing the ring, he deserves to absolutely devour the hell out of his boyfriend. 😏😂
Fr that scene was really good....the feeling of being desperate, impatient, because they obviously felt for eachother before but saying it out loud makes it so unrestrained, so real and raw. Now that Joke did what he could to free Jack and Jack finally being free, they could really not care about anything else.
I was so satisfied at the end of ep 9 then I saw the trailer of the next ep and let me tell you, it's not done yet, there's so many questions and WHO IS P'NANG EXACTLY?? Cuz shes playing big.
Can I just hug Rose? I loved how the entire scene played out. Zorzo is so lovely and talented, I love her so much😭.
Also I can feel the angst coming again🥹
They be hinting at TattooAran...hope to see more of them in the next eps. Also this series cannot be complete without some sort of acknowledgement from Joke's Dad to him....at least for me, I'm waiting to see some more of their interaction. As for their heists, it's unrealistic but fun to watch. If it has me sat for more than an hour, it's amazing for me and this series has been exactly that.♥️
This episode was for Joke. I loved how they showed him and his family, his relation with them after 5 years. It was important.
I love how the story is flowing, there are so many aspects that reflect the reality and how they have portrayed it in the series. 1hr episode but it's still not enough for me. I need more, I enjoy it so much. 🥹
The scenes of Joke and his dad, I tore up at all of them because Joke- please give him some love, he's really, just a good person, trying to get around life after serving his time. That's another aspect that's portrayed really well in this series, just the difficult lives of various people, the small reality of it all.
On that note, now that J&J have talked it out, I'm happy that it also did not progress too fast or too slow, it's just right because their scenes are really expressive, and I'm fulfilled everytime. I'm really happy the way this series is going, it's different and that's unique.
This Toxic Milly is the worst person here !Only Kinnporsche,4 minutes and Triage are the only Masterpiece 😂…
I literally don't get why people would go out of their way, spend so much time hating on something that clearly isn't what they want to watch. Like....okay we get it, it's your opinion, why do you want to come here repeatedly and provoke other viewers who enjoy the show and shove their "this is trash" comment on them. I hope they stop. 😮💨
Seems like they're more obsessed with the show. 🤔🤦🏻♀️
I'm just going to say that this episode was literally my favourite. BECAUSE no one beats YinWar when it comes to emotions and angst. Its just so well acted out, everything flowed smoothly in this ep, even the lighter scenes. I cried almost every scene, the one with Rose and Jack with the kids and Jack tells her about dreams, even that tore me up.
And the last part, I literally couldn't stop crying. Jack clearly doesn't want Joke to get hurt, and now that he's more involved in the shady business, he just wants Joke to have a good life... And Joke finally breaking down at the end of the day, when he's alone (not technically, but you get it). He went through so much, found happiness, but even that was short lived. His exchange with his dad literally broke me.... because first Joke purposely didn't want to bother his family, I don't think he outright believed that they didn't want anything to do with him....he went to his father with hope. Gosh I'll- 😭
I have to give it up for the writers, because what is this? The story has been so unpredictable and has me hooked. I personally like the plot going in directions that are not realistic, like the marriage hint for Jack and Rose, or Boss being in control of Jack's fate, it's to build up the plot. There's new elements and I was kinda worried how they're going to pull this through 12 ep....now I'm thinking how they would wrap it up nicely within next 5 eps, cuz the plot's become so vast and interesting.
I love how everyone in the series has something that they desperately want. Also Rose is an interesting character, even if she finds out about Jack being forced into the situation, she wouldn't be against it because I feel like that's what would benefit her, if her being smitten with Jack is understood...but then I might be wrong cuz this series is so unpredictable!!
And I'll say it. I love when the characters suffer in the story (my pfp is literally 2ha 😃), cuz what's the fun if everything's fluffy and nice. And please tell me I'm not the only one but y'all- ain't nobody doing it like them. It just hits different when it's Yinwar. The sadness just-🤌🏻. And then when we get the happiness it's just rewarding. Man next ep is gonna be interesting, there's new elements in the series like the "ring" that holds ultimate power, cuz now it seems like we're getting somewhere with the theft and heist concept😏.
Am I gonna end this without saying-war know how to make viewers cry with him- cuz he has such expressive eyes and when he has crying scenes....it's somehow tenfolds sadder....
Ep 6 left me with so much curiosity, there's so much to the plot that it doesn't bore me. Although I would say, this ep, the scenes felt a little out of place, I somewhat felt there wasn't a flow between the scenes, like the transitions were the best...🥹
But then again, every scene had its own importance, like the one where Toi Ting comes in crying, there's a hint of what would happen further in the story. I'm looking forward to Aran and Tattoo's story, and the scene about Hoy in the shrine left me so intrigued, then there's considerable plot build up for Hope's character and Save's actions.
Its already halfway done! Now the part that I love and dread at the same time would be the angsty plot🥹. I remember when I binged watched LM, I cried so much my eyes hurt (N'mark deserves all the happiness ❤️). But I'm so excited for it! The acting has improved so much, especially for Yin. Looking forward to it!
Also, if you interested, see the trailer, decide on your own if you want to watch it or not, there are many varing comments that are valid (except some that clearly want to start a fight....ugh) because thats how people's opinions are. For me, I saw the 1st ep of J&J and was invested by the vibe and talent. I really wanted more so I searched and found LM (can't believe I missed out on the hidden gem, considering I absolutely love angsty stuff). Then I researched more and found YWPB and I really like their friendship.
Honestly I had a massive viewers block (is that what they call it? 😅) and the last thing I watched was love mix up ...but I just couldn't complete it....I started a few more but I just couldn't bring myself to watch them....but this caught my interest. So it can be different for different people. Just give it a try ❤️
Ohh the ending of each episode makes me so curious! There's so much plot that's yet left to be unfolded! Ep 6 today, and we get to see domestic J&J, oh it would be so worth it! 😭
Also 25+M bhat = 6+Cr INR and they have invested out of their own pockets, all for their fans, they are so genuine. They deserve the success of this series not just because of that, but because this series is actually good. The plot isn't boring and there's a balance of comedy and serious scenes. And for those who have been around, there are little details and connections that we can make to Love Mechanics!! Most Importantly, the actors know how to act. 🙌🏻
Aaaand I'm back again....ep 5 comes out tomorrow!! I can't wait for it! I think YW can pull this commedy-action plot really well, it just feels very natural. The entire ep 3 was really good, all the actors played really well! The comedy cringe aspect just works really well in some scenes, that's just some asian comedy right there! And the serious scenes have so much emotions, when Jack and Joke interact, there's just so MUCH chemistry (ateast from my(shipper) pov😂). No really, the expressions, and war's EYES!! I am actually in love with his acting style, his adaptability, his character.
I also want to point out the action scenes, cuz I really like them, there's just some thing about the way the action scenes are played out, I find it really....realistic, raw and natural. They really have worked hard for it and it shows.
I absolutely wish this series so much success. The actors, the team itself is so genuinely talented. ❤️
And by this time I have completed Love Mechanics and boy let me tell you if I was impressed by YinWar from Jack&Joker ep1 then I'm far beyond that when I saw LM. Even though i kind of swore that I would not watch university dramas (with engineers) anymore 🤐(too many of those were seen in my early bl days🥲)but it was something that I was searching for (I'm here for all the angst). I was absolutely mesmerized by JUST the expressions of War. Also by the time I realised that Neua was Prom, I was kind of baffled, he's a talented actor!😂
Then I proceeded to watch a few vlogs of YWPB and their other works....they are passionate and so genuine about what they do, and they have such a supportive and dedicated team.
I take my words back....I may have been influenced by various reactions but seeing the stuff they produce, I have to give it to them. They are independent artists (as far as I know) and being so genuine about this project, their dedication for it, I want to support them. This type of genre is different for them but they are performing well. Such a character for Yin is so different but he plays so well.
Also Low budget who? Are you looking at the various personas of Joker? The cinematography of the series is also nice. So far the prologue was quite good and then the continued 2nd ep.
I'm all in for YinWar's acting! I love it, it has me hooked! I really like the acting style of most actors. I'm actually surprised by how underrated the quality of acting is.... because it's really good. The actors know what they're doing! And War?? I absolutely love his expressions, man takes his acting very seriously. ❤️
There's a vibe and it's good, it's a thai BL so ofc there's the occasional comedy aspect but I hope the story would be good, since it's an original and not based off anything, so they have more freedom....I guess? Hope they do well with that....Apart from the leads, I find Prom's acting really intriguing. I'm rooting for this series😊
Tbh...this is a good show I'm seeing after a long while. I'm hooked!
There's so much to it, the mystery, the jealousy, the chemistry between all characters! AND Pavel! His acting feels so natural to me, it's effortless and smooth. It's like he does so minimal but conveys the emotions on point!! I'm amazed each time I see him. He is so very talented.
Pooh on the other hand has done the mystery element well too. His persona change when his character is with Babe and when his individual scenes come are good.
i personally also like all the other characters, Alan, Way, Jeff, Kenta....they fit the characters well. There's not much of the overly cringe scenes with jokes as fillers, so I'll continue this one.
I’m confused - why does MDL say it ends today? I thought it was 12 episodes, last one airing July 12th?
it also airs on WeTv, so I think the viewers with VIP there have access to the 12 th ep whereas the official YT channel of Dee Hup released the 11th ep this week. We will get the 12th ep next week on YT😅
It is completed on WeTV, as all eps are released there.
I started this series 2 days ago, it already has my heart!! This is different from what I usually have seen in the BL industry. This series actually explores and tells us about it's concept and environment (this is the office environment and about marketing) I really liked this aspect, apart from that, the actors are really good! They know what to portray and when to portray, there's moments of weakness which feels so natural (like Ben's moments where he is faced with challenges in his workplace, it defines his character as a sensetive yet brave person, we can see how he learns from straight forward putting his words across clients in initial eps to him being faced with a Karen) It's like he is growing and understanding the environment around him. Then we have Man!! Jeng is the best example of a gentle giant, he's adorable!! The breakdown scene of Jeng was really moving. How he broke down if front of his brother, or how we could see the change in his expressions when Pat tells Jeng to leave him alone. I have to give it to Man, he knows how to convey his emotions. i have now caught up to 10th ep, but im not ready to say bye to it yet! I really found a jewel after a long time! This certainly is a good watch!!
