Yes, but I couldn’t understand why he told her to wait for five minutes to call back. Was he trying to keep the kidnapper/FL under control? Or just as stated above, he wanted her to confess? Like the part of a bigger picture, in this case, the explosion.

Could be because he wants everything to remain under his control.
