I usually continue watching a Cdrama only if it draws me in after a few episodes. I never watch something just because it tops charts or dominates market share, since those numbers are often inflated by idol actors’ fan bases or their agencies (I know the truth can be bitter). The real hits are the ones that generate actual revenue for the platform, as was recently highlighted at the annual conference of a major streaming platform.
