Can someone clarify what the titles mean? he was yi shin, then yi an. What do those titles mean?
Princes and kings have a royal title bestowed to them anytime. This action pretty much changes the name that he's known by to the public. It probably makes him feel like sh*t everytime he gets a new name. The father didn't want Lee An to hinder his brother, who was the crown prince at the time. I'm guessing that Lee An is the noticeably gifted to rule while his brother was a coward born first. They either didn't want to disrupt the status quo and/or the brother's in-laws are that powerful that the royal family had to keep the brother on the throne.
Byeon Wooseok's acting is alright, but he excels at romantic comedy scenes! His reactions to IU's antics feel like a Tom and Jerry push and pull like it's obvious they care enough for each other but they pretend not to. It reminds me of why I liked Lovely Runner aside from the female leads' hard carry acting.
Chefs Jung Hoyoung and Sam Kim's antics are so well suited for 2D1N β€οΈβπ₯ One of them is cute and one of them is calm π You can tell that they're close friends with their little tricks against each other!!
I think she will 100% go back to USA after she find her mother, I doubt anyone can take Woojae from Eunbin.
Fair enough. Veronica/Minseo does have 4 younger siblings in the United States that she's already attached to, implying a good relationship between her and her adopted family. If anything, I feel like she might inspire Woojae to get over burnout/anxiety and find meaning again in wanting to be a doctor beyond his family's wish.
I'm obssesed... I really didn't put any expectations on this one since I haven't read any synopsis or spoilers…
Which episode does Liu Yuning's OST appear? I'm on episode 8, but maybe I was too absorbed that I haven't noticed it yet. I did hear Zhou Shen's OST and I love hearing him sing as always. Truly a blessing! It's almost like if Zhou Shen is doing the OST for a drama, the drama will probably be good too! π«Άπ» I'm a fan of Zhou Shen from Keep Running so I can tell right away.
Oh no. I want to watch it but Miles Wei is the 2nd lead π I can't!I love Arthur tho. Ughhh so torn
Honestly, I love Miles Wei too so I was torn hearing he would be the second lead/villain, but give this drama a try. I definitely don't regret watching! π«’ππ» I just finished episode 8 so Miles Wei has only appeared for two scenes so far. This drama might be his chance to expand the diversity of his work by challenging the role of a villain. He might even look more hot as a villain? The juxtaposition of his hidden agenda to his handsome face is interesting π I am kinda bummed it's not him voicing the role, but his actual voice does have a sweet tone to it.
I'm only on episode 4 so far, but I'm liking what I'm seeing! ππ₯° I feel like Dilraba and Chen Feiyu's chemistry might actually surpass her chemistry with Wu Lei in the Long Ballad π€
I think so! Especially when Eunbin was pointing this will be her future in-laws' house and Seri is dead set against the idea, it feels like Seri jinxed herself. She won't be able to defend against her birth daughter much more.
I will genuinely feel bad for Eunbin. I agree that Woojae does not seem to have any romantic feelings towards…
I feel bad for Eunbin if her feelings aren't reciprocated by Woojae, but she might come to realize that she actually doesn't like Woojae as much as she did when she was a kid. I get that vibe since yesterday's episode when she wants to check his bedroom and "try out his bed," it reads like a red herring and comes off as playful rather than romantic.
I mean it's possible, she TOO is connected with the other family through her birth mom, so... I mean the writers…
True, it can be either girl with Woojae. When I began watching this drama, I wondered why there isn't a photo of Woojae and Eunbin like how the main drama poster looks for Yang Hyunbin x Gong Juah, Gong Jeonghan x Han Seongmi, and Yang Dongik x Cha Seri. Emitting them leaves for more anticipation and uncertainty from the viewers since only those three couples are confirmed, but that doesn't mean there can't be more couples. I heard that in Korea being in-laws with the same family twice is considered strange?? Not sure if that's the right word to describe it. Twice doesn't seem bad to me, but I guess if every person got together with another person from that family, it gives the wrong impression that they're only attracted to each other. It would be nice to explore other types of relationships being formed.
I don't like the stepmom's actions in this episode. From the fake affair photo incident aimed at Dr. Han Seongmi to this fake push video incident aimed at Gong Juah, she doesn't learn to stop. Karma needs to come back for retribution.
her dream was to own real estate company. in e07 she says she wants to do architecture because she knows real…
At the beginning of episode 21, in her original timeline, Xia Xiaolan was scolded by her auntie for participating in architectural design model competition as a high school senior when she should be focusing on conventionally studying, getting into a good college, and finding a good job. The episode is then titled as, "A Dream I Never Dared to Have Before." I know that in the alternate timeline, she mentioned she chose to major in architecture because real estate is going to have a boom in that era. And yet, I think she would've pursued architecture even in her original timeline if she had the courage and support from her family members - things she didn't have before this transmigration.
As an architecture major, to be honest, I wasn't impressed by Xia Xiaolan's idea of an infinity pool. But before cursing me, first, hear me out- It's because an infinity pool is a common enough thing here in Hawaii implemented in hotels and hotel resorts. The more stars, the more likely it will have one. As I watch more of the Chinese drama, I come to realize why it would a newsworthy gimmick in Shencheng. It makes sense as a more interactive architecture feature than the previous iteration of a European styled fountain. Their times is not accustomed to it, but as long as the structural integrity holds up, it's feasible to implement. Shencheng is a place with endless views of the sea/ocean so the feature's impact becomes greater. I'm just curious to find out how Xia Xiaolan will be able to have a competitive edge in the current times once she goes back to her original timeline. The industry is more cutthroat now than ever. Will she try again to pursue her dream of becoming an architect?
