We already know who the villain would be, but this villain would have more protection than Cui Minzhong even had. I doubt the emperor would kill off his crown prince, unless the son goes after the father's life.

There's a big chance of a Season 2 being in the works in the future especially if this drama did really well in China! Oh and it helps that this drama is being aired by Central China Television (CCTV). They may have the funds and mobility to create a following season.

After what seemed to be a happy ending of riding free into the far mountains of the Tang Dynasty, the Crown Prince orders his subordinates to kill Li Peiyi and Xiao Huaijin because they know too much. As I was watching the final episodes, it did seem unsettling that Li Peiyi didn't do anything to the Crown Prince but ruining his plan to kill Consort Shu. But while Li Peiyi might be able to survive this current emperor, her uncle, who tolerates her bluntness and antics, what would happen if he dies? The Crown Prince wouldn't tolerate her. I initially thought that leaving would keep her away from the palace trouble. I was so wrong. The Crown Prince won't spare her the same way that Prince Duan wasn't spared.

The post-credits scene is insane! How did I almost miss it?

Episode 2 done and I'm really liking this drama so far ❤️‍🩹

I just finished episode 1, and I was so confused in the middle of it because how could 2 people who were "dating" did not know each other? The drama trope is usually 1 person with amnesia. I'm glad that I stuck around to the end of episode 1 to find out that her "boyfriend" who died had a different name, Kang Hyeokchan. The male lead's similarities with her "boyfriend" is the name Chan and the university they attend. I'm curious to know more!

Trueee!! An episode feels so quick! Sometimes I'm like thinking "Bai Lu jie, what drama will you be filming next?" I saw on her Weibo that she's actually in Korea right now and that she went to a fellow Keep Running member Yuqi's G-IDLE concert with other members and Feud drama friends. It's honestly impressive that she can be posting while being so busy/eventful too 🙌🏻

Oh I'm actually watching ongoing too! 1 episode a day is a pain 😭 Bai Lu is so good about promoting her drama on Weibo 👏🏻 that she usually posts selfie or behind the scenes group photos but sometimes things like the blood makeup or props might be a spoiler if you haven't watched the episode before checking ahaha 😆

I can't remember if I saw him first in the Doubkle or Story of Kunning Palace, whichever aired first, but both of these drama were good 👍🏻
