Some people complaining about ML not able to do chores or cook, dude he was born with a silver spoon, his dad spoiled him as he was left motherless early on. N so he is sort of spoiled 2nd gen rich kid!! But he isn't totally spoiled, hence he wants to make his own name n fame, earn his own money n is kind to people! N about doing chores he will learn to do that too by the end! That's wat the drama is about!
Also I don't see this type of energy when in a drama FL can't cook till the end n depends upon ML cooking, while concentrating only on her career n gets away by saying she cooks bad food n so she doesn't!! While the ML balances both house n work!! why don't anyone say that why didn't FL learn cooking? As far as I know feminism is about equality, not about making only men do the house work as well as earn while woman only concentrates on her career.

He will, he will learn, will have growth in that department. Have patience.

Becos of first 2 episodes bad editing n AI face swap people dropped it calling it names n so the ratings dropped to 7.6. So rn i m glad it atleast picked up. Also this drama is doing fairly good in mainland, so MDL ratings don't matter.

U said u don't like where jingjing was heading n I saw people saying they saw ending credits where jingjing was walking away n concluded that's how their story ends, so I gave the spoiler. It's not big deal, it's a romance drama not suspense drama where u can't know the ending or else ur watching experience gets ruined. Most of the romance drama r adapted from novel so anyway many know the ending.

There r few dramas which have second chance romance trope, the romance there is shown early followed by breakup n meeting years after again.

They would have breakup in the middle of the drama, not in the end. Why did u conclude that they r not endgame? In novel also they had different story but they had breakup n later makeup too n they ended together, even in extra chapters the kid girl of fei fei was shown to have love angle with kid boy of jingjing n lu ze.

I don't understand why people r in hurry to get into romance part so soon n complain that they r bored it's not starting, n when the romance starts they then get bored with sweetness soon too. It's like either way u r bound to get bored! So pick a lane! I would rather the romance starts late becos I love the pre romance phase very much n easily get bored with over sweetness later, becos then there is nothing to look forward to. For me, Slow burn romance >>>> than romance starting from first episode.
This thing I saw even the novel writer of this drama said in the chapter ending notes, readers of the novel did the same thing, they were complaining why is the romance not starting n that they r getting bored n if romance starts they complain that now they got together, nothing interesting is left to look forward to. Lol.

Hmm u should wait then till it finishes airing! Then u can skip parts u don't want n binge watch only fei fei couple story.

True though he is there only for few minutes, u can use FF button easily but I don't when he has scenes with others, only with shiyu I skip his scenes becos their love looks so fake n boring!

U consider him having squint eyes🤣🤣🤣 it would be laughable n tolerable then if u want to watch his scenes. I do that n he has become so tolerable since then🤣

Yeah it was made with a very low budget. Only leads acting, ckt and their dynamic is lifting n carrying this show atp.

Yeah like same scene of him jogging with her stretched so much😭 what was the need other than to increase number of episodes!

I have noticed few actors comes with specific directors as free 🤣 so maybe this actor must be someone who was director recommended n so has so much useless screen space 🤣

Li yifie is supposed to be childish character only😭 if u have read the novel. In novel he was a bit on jerk side, not clownish, so I love they made his ckt lovable by making him more of childish.

Hmmm. This drama should have been just 24 or 28 episodes max, we would have then got spared of so much nonsense other plotlines. This is the problem with 40 now 36 episodes long modern cdrama. It tends to become boring in some parts. N as we watch it during on air we can't bear it. Those who will binge watch it later might be able to maybe bear it more by fast forwarding scenes.

Except ML n FL all other ckts in the drama r weird🤣 I have accepted it. But I found them weird even in novel.
