Finally completed this today! N I loved it so much😍 there is nothing to complain about this drama, it was so good. I only felt it got a bit dragged in the last 2-3 episodes n so I watched them in 1.5x speed😅 . Nevertheless I gave it 9.5/10❤️

Not wedding scene, it was banquet scene in xie mansion where wanyan Jun humiliates the princess. About the cast n ckt they r playing u r right. He qiu is playing princess xu.

I m watching love story in 1970s, n going to complete it, n its very good n unique n feelgood type of drama. U can say it's my type of genre. I kept POJ on hold for now, will see after it ends airing if it stays good till end, then I will watch it.

Seriously nowadays I see a drama having rebirth n revenge plot i jst laugh n happily skip it without even trying it becos I know what to expect even from it😭🤣 i mean there's nothing new unpredictable going to happen in it, so y to see same old wine in new bottle even! I m even bored of same palace politics drama too. Nowadays I find it hard to get a cdrama that I will really like to watch till the end. Some I love in the start but they start boring me soon n i either drop them or take forever to complete them like I m doing a job 🤣.

Its very common human mentality to want the same good looking trendy thing that others have , so they start wanting those same thing for themselves too. Like if there's a trend for some type of pattern in fashion Market, everyone would want that n buy it. Same thing is happening now I guess for few fans of other actor/actress. Everyone wants their favs to work with that director or have that screenwriter only becos they feel it would be guaranteed huge success😅 but nothing in this world is guaranteed success. Sometimes unexpected succeeds n sometimes the best ones fail too.

Dear, there's a first time for everyone! When zhuyu started filming u know why zlh fans boycotted that drama n didn't want zlh to take it creating huge ruckus? Becos they said the director is new n has done only short films n they don't want him with such a newbie director. But then Blossom got successful later, then they went quiet. So my point is do not look down on anyone. Like in lyrics of one of JCs song, every star has its own shining moment. Rn it's the time for that zhuyu n blossom director to shine, later

Bai jinjin even though has famous works to her name, she totally messed up LGIEF, it got popular only becos of first few episodes n popular leads. Later the story was all a mess. It's Novel was better. So it means one who has done good other script writing also can endup not being that good.

U don't need to be a fan of either to watch n enjoy a drama, I m fan of only JC in cdramas but I enjoy n appreciate others dramas if they r well made n doesn't annoy me with either acting/over my head plot. I don't even mind no chemistry between couples becos anyway i find chemistry so rarely in even top hit drama couples.

Idk novel fans always creates noise but I have seen no matter what novel fans feel initially later they also watch the drama anyway n if it's good they change their opinion as fast as a lightning speed! So their opinion doesn't hold importance.
About this drama I also don't know much how cent works n how many episodes script is given to them but as far as I know they might still know the gist of the whole script too. Not in detail but overall the highlights n ending ofcourse. Why would anyone choose a role over just first 10 episodes script if they don't know how it goes n ends?

I think they should make some changes becos some parts I got bored while reading n ofcourse for making drama precise but well understood without making viewers feel second guessing about a lot of things as in when scenes jump directly to another n has no proper flow making it feel that we r watching clips instead of a story.

It's not fixed. Sometimes I have seen a drama got extended number of episodes after passing review than the tentative earlier ones n sometimes they r cut short.

I m thinking the screenwriting of this must be good too becos I trust JCs script choices so far, he wouldn't take safe choices by taking big IP roles which r guaranteed success but only which roles would excite him. Also the actress playing wanyan purruo said the script of this drama is very good. So I m trusting these things for now.
As for ROMEOML drama, I don't think billing will have effect on screentime. They also know all these things that novel fans won't like if they change a lot as it's a big IP n fan fav novel n it will invite a lot of hate, so no one in their right mind would want to do that n set themselves up. Wu Lei also had first billing in lltg but his ss was so less compared to fl. So it's not about ss in billing but who invites more investors n is popular.

That I also read from X by one fan. Anyway I knew zhu yu was a given hit when I saw it had good director n screenwriter plus the novel when I read was very good too. We have a fairly good novel n director too. Hoping the screenwriter is good too n this drama makes her famous n adds famous hit work in her biography 🤞

True. Screenwriter plus the director's camera angle n, cinematography both r very good n well known for their work in that one. We r safe with this director as far as I heard about his work from those who watched(i personally haven't watched any of his works) hoping we r safe with screenwriter too.🤞
