Don't u know dear that drama always changes a lot from the novel usually? 😭 Very few dramas have been true to the novel. Usually only modern dramas. Anyway the novel also had happy ending in extra chapters otherwise the main novel was also SE. But the drama is definitely BE but here also they filmed few extra episodes to make up for the trauma they r gonna give with BE although I don't know if that would be able to console us or make us grieve more for "what could have been" scenario!

The one shown as gui lili here isn't actually gui lili, but yao Jing Jing, Qian fie's bestie. MDL messed up the name. Lyf gf is played by some other girl. She just have a cameo role.

No. Novel lyf was very immature n misogynist. They changed that in the drama thankfully. Novel lyf wasn't likeable in the first half.

I don't think thats how they would show in the drama, becos drama is changed a lot from novel usually. But in the novel yes they rented it together. Lol. But in drama frm the preview clips it seems that he rents it alone.

Their relationship is that of bickering only😹 along with supporting each other but its surely full of warmth. The novel was very good even though the ML ckt was bit misogynist in start n had gradual ckt development but I don't think they will show him totally like that in drama n would change that about him. Rest assured it will be worth ur time.
