I have read the novel but it seems the drama hasn't lived upto the initial hype of this novel n pair seeing the low rating here! 🤔 I liked the novel, not very much but it was good enough, but it seems the drama ain't?
Finally after so many days I completed watching this😭🤣. But I loved watching it whenever I got free time and didn't feel bored. It was intriguing till the end. It was unpredictable and that's wat I love in any drama, i dislike predictable cliche dramas n drop them like hot potato even if they r loved by the whole world! And there was such a happy and satisfying ending to it too! No one died too that's the best thing for me here😭 so even though like everyone else I didn't like FL for half the episodes but the show was above the cliche plot of only lovers finding their way to each other found in every other cdrama! I think I don't resonate with Mdlers nowadays, the dramas they rate high endup disappointing me n the one they rate low, i love them😭 Anyways, apart from ML, FL, there were so many ckts to love in this one. I specially loved song yiting ckt, what a woman! Jst that I didn't like her choice of man😹 in this show I didn't find any really shippable couple but nonetheless it kept me so intrigued till the end becos the plot was the hero of this drama! So a solid 9/10 rating from me! 🤌 I may rewatch this drama in the near future when i really miss it!
Poor kid nan heng! Felt so bad for him when even as kid his father showed bias towards Rui n not jst that, even went on to show disgust at the kills nan heng brought. While praising CGH, condemning NH for the same. I thought till now the king might have got wary of grown up NH seeing his power n ways but now seeing he always condemned him even as kid jst becos of his powerful maternal family, i jst hate that king😡
I m enjoying this drama more than TPOB tbh. Though there r so many loopholes in this but it's not very predictable at this point unlike I knew what's going to happen in TPOB that makes me bored to watch such drama. So it's nice uptil episode 10. Btw I didn't understand why the script was as such that the male lead himself looked so bad n villainous. There was no quality of male lead in him in that original script lol. N a rookie actress n second male lead has been given good ckts and to think a top actor still agreed to be part of such script where his ckt was totally like villain. Lol totally impossible in real cent world 😹 that's the very first big plothole in the show. Still the drama is enjoyable for being unpredictable and funny. So I will watch this one more.
Jianci wasn't even in tencent party today, nor there was anything about LHF. I thought tencent cares about him as all his dramas r from tencent. But it seems jianci is not doing any drama as of now n only doing business activities n some dance n singing performances here and there. 🥲 It seems I have to really move on from him now. There is no hope of seeing any of his drama soon.
Finally he will be shooting atleast for another Hi6 episode on 24th 🥳 my clown delulu self hoping wcr also goes n it turns out to be for promotion of LHF 🥲🙏
Last year I heard "Reborn" drama was to air before this drama n as that drama was delayed so this drama also was delayed. Now reborn drama is finally confirmed to air on 19th, also reborn and this drama were featured as two coming soon dramas on We Tv. So hoping good news is arriving soon for this too.🤞🙏
Zhang Hai was such a bold gambler, ofcourse he had great knowledge and intelligence but still I would say he was just a very bold gambler who took big risks every time, n it was jst his luck that his every move hit n striked where he exactly wanted them to. He was not a very cautious or meticulous person who will play safe, he put his life on the line so many times. I kept feeling so scared for him all the time due to this😭 but as he was the lead n it was his story, I would console myself that nothing would happen to him🤪 Also idk why people r complaining Abt his chemistry with zjy, I loved it, though there were not many romantic scenes of them, but whatever were there, I loved their chemistry. Would love them to pair in a romantic modern drama, though I know it's not possible 🙂
Finally completed watching all the episodes. I really enjoyed it though I felt bad for so many good ckts also dying (usually i avoid watching such dramas where there r lot of people dying) but it was Xiao zhans drama, wanted to watch a good one of his drama since a long time. Plus this got me intrigued from the get go, so I had to watch it.. can't say it was as good as the untamed but still it was close by. The revenge in the untamed was very satisfactory, here not so much, that's y I made the above comparison. anyway, I loved watching this till the very end, it kept me biting my nails as to what would happen next, how will ZH survive now, so its still 9.5/10 rating from me. :)
Wait that mr. Qu jiao, died jst like that? His killing scene wasn't even shown? Jst mentioned that he was killed?? I hate this when in revenge drama they don't kill the bad people with as cruelty as they kill innocent people😤 I don't get satisfaction in such revenge. This was the reason I dropped The double becos i wasn't getting satisfaction with the revenge, the bad guys died too easily n the cruelty they did with innocent people before was too bad to have such an easy death.
