Yes the drama which is going to be adapted from the novel "rebirth of malicious empress" which is by same author of the double drama. It's FL centric drama like the double so it's not likely JCT will take it but the ML described in the novel fits JCT to the tee😭 I m reading that novel n imagining him only as the ML becos I know it won't happen in reality, so one can jst imagine/dream😓.
I jst started reading this novel n I feel most people r jst being uselessly worried about such a big novel getting adapted in 36 episodes drama, becos as far as I have read I feel most of the novel words r jst describing people, the setup, the getup n all which covers most part of the chapters, so it isn't a big thing becos I felt 10 chapters can be shown in jst 1 or 1 n half episode itself becos its mostly describing the authors view abt how the people/setup/ getup should look like. Drama doesn't need to show or describe that word by word. So it's not a prblm. Like I have read abt 35 chapters n feel all the events so far can b shown in jst 2 or 3 episodes at most. Also about casting discussion here, I don't think young actress is only needed to act as 16-17 yrs(that's wat they would show her age in drama actually not 14yrs) becos in novel she had kids who were 16-17 yrs n so she should look like the mother of those big children even wen she does makeup or is reborn as teenage herself should have motherly aura becos in novel the fl even after reborn keeps thinking abt her children while looking at other kids of that age n I don't think a young actress would b able to bring that motherly aura for grownup kids. So I can only think actress like zhao liying would suit this role as she looks young but can have motherly aura too. I m not saying it's only her I can think should be casted, becos I have very less knowledge of actress in china but I feel like a 30+ actress who doesn't look like her age bt young, can carry an aura of an adult n mother of grownups should b casted.

Oh so I saw that brocade odessey drama having the same 2nd ML with lawsuit, his face will be replaced with AI😵💫 n so that drama will b airing from 30 nov. So this means if LHF team needs to air this drama, they also need to replace his face with AI, only then can this drama be released too.

He himself wasn't bad, knew loyalty n loved shenli truly, bt was manipulated n possessed still tried to control himself frm getting possessed. He jst had bad luck to b born as lumings son. I pitied him so it wasn't hard for me to develop sml syndrome n specially becos ML wasnt styled properly he looked too old for shenli, except when he wore fusheng sects black costume.
The first time I watched it few months back but finally dropped it after episode 30. Becos I found the ML too poorly dressed with loose fitting dress n bad hairstyle, so I was not able to get into the leads as pair, this time I tried to watch it again n viola i completed it this time n liked it overall. But tbh I still liked mofang more, though I liked XZ too, but I being someone who don't develop 2nd lead syndrome developed it here😅. Anyway, the most fun ckt was furong jun, I loved him😭🤣heyu nailed that ckt. It's a better drama this year than many others for me. Oh it's OST was the best one amongst this year's dramas ost. All of the BGM were so addicting n feelsy.

Anyway dropped after episode 13. Since I didn't have any interest left for main couple even after them getting together n the popular steamy scene and I already have an idea of what's going to happen in remaining episodes anyway, so had no interest to continue.

First in real world she was jst a stalker who was jst attracted to someone handsome, but when the guy actually was thrown off the building, she didn't even report to the police fearing for herself. Bt then she gets into the novel n starts shamelessly pursuing the same looking guy whom she wasn't able to save or help in anyway so can't even say she liked him bt was jst obsessed with his good looks. N it wasn't funny for me, becos she wants to replace the fl of the novel chuchu she fakes to be good to the novel FL n helps her, also she very well knows chuchu likes Situ aoran n even agreed to give them her blessing, pretending to be her frnd bt still backstabs her by being happy to actually replace the fl of the novel n get aorans attention n love. (Chu Chu was right to call her 2 faced) Sorry she is jst not FL material. She don't even have a backbone, she is really shameless n so i wasn't able to root for ml n fl. Though I liked the second ML, qing feng but it's good he didn't get the selfish FL, becos he surely deserved better than this fake, selfish pretentious FL. Good escape Qing Feng. That FL deserved that rude n another selfish ML only. ML was another masterpiece. He first gave all the attention to the novel FL chuchu, toyed with her, gave her false hopes, n then becos of selfish FL xiao en's meddling started liking her being the fickle minded he was n wen he saw 2nd ML his own best frnd having feelings for FL, ZXE, he still backstabbed his frnd to snatch her too away from him.(First chuchu whom QF liked then selfish FL too when he started liking her n always rescued her n was there for her) I mean ML n FL were so well suited backstabbing n selfish bitches, they really deserve each other. But it's first time I hate this ml n fl both n cant even root for them. N making chuchu evil jst to make these selfish ML n FL look good totally failed for me. Though I didn't like over sweet n pretentious chuchu too, but imagine if she wasn't pretentious or evil, they both really did bad to her. If she would have been shown good, everyone would have hated those two, ml n fl for playing with her feelings. Anyway, I will still end this show to see if I like selfish ML n FL by the end n specially for 2nd ML qing feng, want to see his happy ending.
