Usually in dramas there is upwards growth of FL ckt, but in this one I found XY had reverse ◀️ growth. She was more likable as WXL, free spirited, self loving, self reliant n caring for others, healing n being happy with whatever the world offers her n making do with it. But later she became obsessed with finding her worth only through a man who can b her companion forever to rely on. N started always being sad n crying. Wat a downgrade! I would have cheered for her had she rejected all of them n made them all jst frnds forever n left alone to wander being WXL again, free spirited n happy with herself, that would have been true woman empowerment. That would have justified the title of this show "lost you forever" truly for the FL only(who was supposed to be the main protagonist) as all 4 men would have lost her forever. Now the title of the show belongs to mainly XL (who was supposed to b 3rd lead but became the main protagonist in everyway, even by taking away the title of the show for himself) n somewat for CX . Hehe.

Finally finished watching and the extra episode made me emotional. 😭 It was a good watch overall. From supporting ckts, I loved the grand aunt Ms Lu the most . She was such a fun ckt🤣. I totally enjoyed all her scenes n screen presence. I didn't like li Li n her story either with XYX or SZZ, it was boring, by the end I skipped their scenes. Whereas i liked LLJ n xiaomeng story n scenes. I found the male antagonist funny as he has all the scenes of mostly serving tea🤣he didn't even look intimidating to take him seriously.
I loved that romantic OST n it's soothing music in the start. It will always remind me of HT loving stare for JX. 😍 Overall its still 9/10 for me😀.

When did I say ML sacrificed for her? That's wat i was asking that how was the story of fox n hunter sacrificing their basic habits relevant to HT n JX! N I guess this argument is going to lead nowhere as you r not able to understand my pov which isn't related to jst this drama but all recent cdramas I have watched. U jst want to defend this show n ckt whereas I wanted to raise the point as a whole for other dramas too I have seen where i felt these things more. I don't have much prblm with fl ckt of this show but with addition of other fls of the dramas nowadays I just generalised the statement. U took it as my rant for only this show whereas i ranted same thing on two other drama pages n people even agreed to my points on those pages. Anyway, don't wanna argue any further here. Refusing to work with rival wasn't a sacrifice FYI. She had other options too for investment. That's loyalty, not sacrifice. Refusing rivals investment wasn't something that would end her company. Sacrifice is something that takes away something precious from u in exchange for welfare for our loved one, what did she lose? Agreed both were wrong, but ML redeemed n apologised to everyone, did FL even once did?? The same thing happens in all dramas mostly. The ML if does mistakes he gets full redemption but FL either never even apologize let alone redeem herself. If u go n see in recent all cdramas people bashing FL for this same thing n it's not that they don't see MLs fault or defend him, it's jst the fault of writers/drama makers to paint unrealistic flawless MLs these days who is best in everything n totally flawed FL who does bare minimum for her love n is ignored by fake feminist or like u said defended for her mistakes.

In episode 33, how was the part in the story of fox and hunter story relevant to HT n JX where the fox left hunting rabbits in exchange of hunter leaving hunting, what did JX sacrifice actually for HT?
Also which frnd comforts their frnd by showing a story n telling them they were in the wrong when he is already sad n knows he was wrong? It's gonna make them more depressed not comfort them! 😒 Can cdramas or any dramas stop making their FL sound superior by making them only career oriented, not good at cooking n only ML doing everything in the world for career oriented FL in return of little love frm FL but still FL leaving ML at the smallest inconvenience! It doesn't make them superior in any way but actually demeans them. It reeks of misogyny by portraying a wrong image of woman n thinking woman would love to watch such fake superiority. Maybe some woman will love but most of them don't becos I see many people bashing FL in most dramas for these things n saying ML deserved better! 😒SMH.

Oh i thought some powerful agencies might be in direct contact with channels/platforms to nudge them to release the dramas of their artist soon. It seems true for few actors whose dramas r airing one after the other soon like yangzi, zlh etc.

I haven't watched all episodes yet. I m still on episode 31, n felt her reaction n fight with HT unreasonable to some extent. It jst shows she takes words of a woman who she knows was evil to heart, n doesn't trust HT even though he was the one who made her so strong. That's y I said the above points.

Let's admit it, the FL needed ML to save the day always by either directly helping or indirect advices. First n foremost her company would have never taken off like the way she wanted if ML didn't invest in it. Even if she had ability, she was too damn trusting n emotional fool n would have failed even if she would have got some investor like she got scammed initially for 3D printer. If not for having ML in her life, she was bound to fail n giveup her dream n work in some company like before or get married n live an unsatisfactory life. Let's say this drama gives the message "Behind every successful woman, there is a super successful, resourceful loyal loving man" 😅

Many dramas have multiple platforms for airing but they don't get scheduling issues,why only this one? 😤

Is his agency bad? Why aren't any of his dramas getting released soon whereas I see some actors dramas releases as soon as the other finishes airing. I have been waiting for Love has fireworks since 84 yrs😭 read it's novel too while waiting since ages but still it's not getting aired😤😤

Yes they do, also I can totally imagine XK as Jack too😅. He would suit that role to the tee.

20 episodes in and I finally got a Xu Kai drama I m enjoying so much,( he is so handsome, his looks resembles for me a lot like Leonardo DiCaprio of titanic😅) so i wanted to enjoy atleast 1 of his drama fully, I have watched few, didn't like them or jst were not my cup of tea, so I kept holding to watch this one thinking it would be another BCE like which I didn't like albeit the hype. But this one was such a pleasant surprise🤩 I m totally loving it, even the business n office part of this which is usually boring n hard for me to understand in some other similar office dramas, is interesting so far. Till episode 20 it's 9/10 for me. Let's see if it holds my interest n ratings till the end.

Oh ok, thanks. But till the time the chapters will b available for free I would have forgotten the whole novel n would have to read again to remember 😅. I don't want spoilers becos I can already guess the story but reading chapters is still different kind of enjoyment. Also I heard drama n ckts are changed a lot from novel, i haven't started the drama, will wait till it's completed n then I will binge watch. Hope by then the novel chapters r also available.

Ok. 😞 Its so unfair though, making us addicted to more than half of the novel then asking to pay for only few chapters. Some of us can't pay.

I wanted jst XL compilation clips of s1 too as I saw they left few of his solo scenes i saw in clips n as there was only XY n XL compilation not his solo compilation n i didn't want to watch whole drama for only his scenes, I made do with that only. so if there r only XL compilation clips of this season then all the more gr8.

I have watched season1 only till 8 episodes n dropped becos the show wasn't my cup of tea as whole but I was intrigued with XL ckt becos of JCT charm n aura n the complexity of that character itself, so I jst watched 5 hours of XY n XL clips on YT n loved XL n his character n story so much. I have watched XL few clips of s2 here n there, but if there is all the compilation clips of only XL somewhere pls give link(maybe it's not made yet as show jst off aired, so maybe if someone made already n I m unaware pls help)
I have watched his last scene clip too n cried n felt heartbroken even though I didn't even watch the whole show, such was the iconic character XL n JCTs portrayal of XL totally gave supreme level of charm n justification to XL ckt. Now JCT became one of my fav cdrama actor. I m looking forward to his upcoming dramas to get over the heartbreak which XL left.

I see people praising this drama but I can't seem to move past episode 5. I mean I was ok if they divorced n wanted to start life afresh with other people they liked or fantasised, but then I m not ok with the idea of leading some one else on, spending time like dating with other people making them fall in love, only to tell them they r considered best frnds n get back together with ex spouses in the end. It's unfair for the sml n sfl actually. So I dropped it on 5th episode becos I can't with the injustice with sml n sfl both when both of them r good people but would endup with best frnd label after being led on by ml n fl so much. I hate this. Either be with each other only even in 2nd chance trying to change the mistakes u did in past, or if u were totally fed-up with each other n want to be with ur first love then endup with them only. Why to toy with someone's feeling just becos u want to fulfill ur fantasy! Huhh😒
