20 episodes in and I finally got a Xu Kai drama I m enjoying so much,( he is so handsome, his looks resembles for me a lot like Leonardo DiCaprio of titanic😅) so i wanted to enjoy atleast 1 of his drama fully, I have watched few, didn't like them or jst were not my cup of tea, so I kept holding to watch this one thinking it would be another BCE like which I didn't like albeit the hype. But this one was such a pleasant surprise🤩 I m totally loving it, even the business n office part of this which is usually boring n hard for me to understand in some other similar office dramas, is interesting so far. Till episode 20 it's 9/10 for me. Let's see if it holds my interest n ratings till the end.

Oh ok, thanks. But till the time the chapters will b available for free I would have forgotten the whole novel n would have to read again to remember 😅. I don't want spoilers becos I can already guess the story but reading chapters is still different kind of enjoyment. Also I heard drama n ckts are changed a lot from novel, i haven't started the drama, will wait till it's completed n then I will binge watch. Hope by then the novel chapters r also available.

Ok. 😞 Its so unfair though, making us addicted to more than half of the novel then asking to pay for only few chapters. Some of us can't pay.

I wanted jst XL compilation clips of s1 too as I saw they left few of his solo scenes i saw in clips n as there was only XY n XL compilation not his solo compilation n i didn't want to watch whole drama for only his scenes, I made do with that only. so if there r only XL compilation clips of this season then all the more gr8.

I have watched season1 only till 8 episodes n dropped becos the show wasn't my cup of tea as whole but I was intrigued with XL ckt becos of JCT charm n aura n the complexity of that character itself, so I jst watched 5 hours of XY n XL clips on YT n loved XL n his character n story so much. I have watched XL few clips of s2 here n there, but if there is all the compilation clips of only XL somewhere pls give link(maybe it's not made yet as show jst off aired, so maybe if someone made already n I m unaware pls help)
I have watched his last scene clip too n cried n felt heartbroken even though I didn't even watch the whole show, such was the iconic character XL n JCTs portrayal of XL totally gave supreme level of charm n justification to XL ckt. Now JCT became one of my fav cdrama actor. I m looking forward to his upcoming dramas to get over the heartbreak which XL left.

I see people praising this drama but I can't seem to move past episode 5. I mean I was ok if they divorced n wanted to start life afresh with other people they liked or fantasised, but then I m not ok with the idea of leading some one else on, spending time like dating with other people making them fall in love, only to tell them they r considered best frnds n get back together with ex spouses in the end. It's unfair for the sml n sfl actually. So I dropped it on 5th episode becos I can't with the injustice with sml n sfl both when both of them r good people but would endup with best frnd label after being led on by ml n fl so much. I hate this. Either be with each other only even in 2nd chance trying to change the mistakes u did in past, or if u were totally fed-up with each other n want to be with ur first love then endup with them only. Why to toy with someone's feeling just becos u want to fulfill ur fantasy! Huhh😒

It was nice one time watch worthy drama. Kim soo hyun looked very adorable in this drama, plus his character was also really very cute, I also wanted to pull his cheeks sometimes🤣 some parts felt boring n dragged n something felt amiss. Also I was pissed at the fact they made ML hate FL in the start so much that he was happy over the fact that she was dying, I mean no matter how much u hate someone whom u loved once, how can u feel happy that they r dying? It wasn't funny. Though ml redeemed himself later but still that thing didn't feel right to me. Rest everything was ok.

Not only jawline, she has same dimpled innocent smile too like ji sung, infact if u compare yoona of kill me heal me n khy u will see why I m saying it😜

I just completed watching this drama and totally loved it, the only negative point for me was the ott acting (be it aegyo or deliberate shouting) in some places which seems a norm in kdramas n I don't like that, so it wasn't negative point for this drama alone but for kdramas as whole. Btw I don't understand the top reviewers here giving 2 and 4 ratings for this wonderful drama!! 🤔 Anyway, I wanted to say idk if anyone felt this but the FL kim hye yoon looks like sister of ji sung😜 she has so much resemblance to his face.

Becos of power, both LR and PWX became too powerful figures in the court which was scaring the king n consort ruo, so both decided to fake divorce so that king doesn't get suspicious of them n let them work together behind their backs successfully. The king wanted them to separate n so LR suggested PWX to agree to king if he asks him to seperate so that the kings trust on PWX remains same n he can continue to gain kings trust.

No, PWX saves him but sends him in the south, he doesn't want princess to remember him by dying 🤣 so he saves him.

Oh God😭. Then she would be another fl I will hate till eternity becos in the novel she didn't even had a redemption arc, she just realised everyone betrayed her except the ml n felt she didn't deserve him n knelt in front of him n wanted to please him by giving
him oral sx becos by doing that she felt she is stooping low in front of him as she deserves to which the ml hated. Then she proposed to get seperated rather than asking for forgiveness n promising to repent n make it up to him all her life🙄. If not for her getting pregnant she would have gone far away from him n would have found some new lover to not feel lonely n get the feeling which her husband gave her🤩🤣.

I don't think they would show such a thing in the drama, otherwise for evryone she will become irredeemable n evryone will hate her n think ML deserves way better. 😅

Tell me about it, she even finds a reason for SRQ killing her all by herself to forgive him n still have feelings for him but she wasn't ready to forgive ml for jst caring about a woman linked to his past🙄 didn't give him benefit of doubt or reason to do so. Betrayal is betrayal, even if it has reasons. She was such a hypocrite selfish person in the novel.

In the novel yes they did have sx. Even though he was a eunuch, she forced him to have that kind of relationship according to her own words later, becos she wanted the feeling which her husband gave her n couldn't wait for so many years being alone n dry. 🙄 Whereas ML waited for her, didn't even touch a girl from brothel which was presented to him nor fell in love with anyone else becos he had only LR in his heart n couldn't replace her with anyone else, which fl very easily did.

Exactly. It's just fictional dramas where they show unrealistic things for the audience to please them but in reality who r they pleasing actually by showing such unrealistic portrayals of men n women? I feel they r just slandering woman n changing the definition of feminism according to their own stupid interpretation n guess wat female audience is even buying it in the name of flawed portrayal or feminism or whatever n so they won't even stop showing that.

I know she isn't expected to be pure angel but my problem with dramas nowadays is they show woman in bad light very slyly in the name of being modern woman, only career oriented but fickle in relationship whereas the ml is shown so pure n dream guy who is successful in career but also dedicated to only fl, thus a balanced n pure individual .They do this to please the majority female audience but for me they r slandering the woman very slyly n i jst hate it.
