Yes, I get that they are enemies, but ow wasn't the time. XL obviously was thre to save her. Their relationship isn't a secret. No one knew that she was dead, but XL shows up out of nowhere. He says at the bottom of the stairs that he can save her and CX is still talking and not calling off the guards. Then he pulls out his sword and starts asking if he was there to kill him when minutes before he said someone was here for XY. Like put your beef aside for once. He should have rushed him up the steps from the get go.

And it's not like CX gave his own power. He ordered other people to do so while Jing and XL are draining their lives to save her. I was really mad at the time he wasted.
