i'm watching this for a second time, on the 15th episode... why do i feel like there were so many more episodes when i first watched it? i know the series was cut short due to censorship but i could've sworn there was almost twice as many episodes the first watch around than the second (and no, i'm not confusing stay with me for this one, i haven't even finished that remake yet).

ep 9 & 10 will premiere next weekend, yall. i can't remember where it was announced but there was a schedule change and they gave us a ep 1-8 combination movie in replace of ep 9 this week.
when ashi was writing in his lil journal about how punn will look at him differently, it kind of made me sus about ashi. is it just a diary or is it like an acting sort of journal? why did he write in love in quotes? is he taking note on how to act, how to appear "in love" with this new role he just got in japan? i feel like body guard, title's role, in this new series/movie (can't remember what it was exactly) will have a thing for the guy he's guarding, ashi's role... or maybe it's a mutual love kind of thing and because they're both men (or maybe just in general because he hadn't been in a relationship - at least not in a while, can't remember exact details - let alone in one with a man), ashi needs to learn how to look as if he's in love. so i feel like he's using punn's devotion for him as an acting experience to learn how to play the role of somebody in love.
oh but also the whole thing with punn supposedly being introduced to a manager, i feel like that's going to be such great drama. i really hope they play into that. maybe if my theory on ashi is wrong and he's actually genuine about his relationship with punn, maybe ashi will believe that punn only is using him to get himself into the acting world. love the possible angst and drama from that.
