Yeah the ending is satisfying to me. All the important characters got their good ending tho there're still Shian and Zhouye who are still single T_T

When I start this series, I never expect Gu Jiusi to be an Official in the court. He improved sooooo much.

Also, the sentence of "hope no one will have to become Luo Zishang again" really impactful. Yes he's done many bad things but as Yuru said, she want to give poor families a way out. If I ponder about this, LZS character is really pitiful. He's been living as illegitimate son, losing his family, being beggar to the state he can only do dark things to survive.

This is amazing! Just finished the series. I'll sure miss our dandy Gu Jiusi and the tigress wife Liu Yuru. It's satisfying no annoying love triangle no break up no couple betraying each other. I just feel a healthy relationship where they just support each other and growing day by day while serving the country.

For me it's quite enjoyable. I'm just general watcher of xianxia. The ML is a good teacher as of now, I like how he's strong and useful. As for FL, she's brave I can say. The enjoying part is, no annoying villain as of now so I can continue watching without feeling irritated lol.

I am totally surprised by this man.. I'm finally interested to watch him in Destined. I really like his acting there goofy & cute responsible man Gu Jiusi lol. Then when I come here, I saw most of his dramas got good reviews like mostly 8.0+ wow. I'm trying to watch YAMH, his acting is good! Whenever I see him in black shirt, I see Captain Xing xD

Wow! This is surprisingly good. Why I don't watch this earlier. I'm mostly interested in Special Police part and the emergency situations they face. It's thrilling to watch different situations happen and the way doctors and polices cooperate is satisfying to watch. I feel like finally can see both of these professionals coordinate together. It's heartwarming and cool. Oh even if I fast forward some peaceful scene, I can still follow the story, it's becoming more fun & engaging 💕

I feel like healing from Gu Jiusi Liu Ruyu relationship. Although it's not their choice to marry each other but they still carry the responsibility as husband and wife while growing everyday. Considering, respect each other and most importantly have an effective communication with each other. They're small but can shield everything. ❤️

Coming here after Beauty of Resilience. I like his acting there. I think I'll look forward for his costume dramas in the future. He's really good being a character like Chen Yan. The aloof type is cute 😆

My ending interpretation :

They live in separate universe. One universe is where the rest of Ouya, Yi er, and the born Phoenix child were in. The other universe was where Yan Yue and Wei Zhi traveled back to Wei region because Ouya once said in current timeline that Yan Yue and Wei Zhi disappeared. So I believe both of them alive in different universe.

Don't let negative comments influence you to watch. I enjoyed this even though there's some flaws that I'm angry for. But so far I enjoyed Guo Junchen acting here. He really brought different characters be it carefree Chen Yan or evil Heaven Emperor. He's worthy to be praised for the acting.

Agree with this. When Ou Ya said Yan Yue and Wei Zhi disappeared, I soon understand that they traveled back in time separately to be Chen Yan and Wang Yue. It's like they have two universe now. One is where the rest are while the other one is where YY WZ in.

Yup exactly I don't regret watching this either. Found a good acting, maybe I can look forward to another GJC drama in future. Anyway he reminds me of Lee Joon Gi korean actor xD

I thought I'm the only one find Yi er is annoying. I know she feel remorseful about Mu Nan but it's like she did nothing useful for the entire eps except being grounded again. When will she become mature ☠️
