Thanks to tiktok and twitter, I had so many spoilers. My original plan was to wait for minimum 10 episodes to be released then after watching, but could not resist any spoiler and have to binge- watch. But it is soooo good. I don't want to compare any dramas but it has became my favourite chinese historical drama after Love Like the Galaxy.

I have just finished 4th episode, I dont know why people are complaining about jisoo's acting. I think her acting is natural and good. Before the release I thought her acting will not be natural. Besides I would like to see much scenes with Seo In guk for the first part of the drama. I thought it will be cringe watching while dating scenes but actually it was fun lol.

I think Song Wei Long looks so innocent and clean for this role while considering novel ML 😅Most probably they will soften and cut everything as much as possible.

The drama's ost sounds are so cheap and therefore the script seems so out of place. there is no deep character in the drama. even though we have already seen 7 episodes!! I love Zhaolusi but the drama seems like the production have to launch the drama or sth. It feels so forced. I will keep on watching anyway lol

WAY deserves way more good scripted dramas and lead actress. Btw I highly recommend reading the novel. It was such a good read but comparing the drama it is such a waste! If only the First Frost and Hidden Love's script writers and producers would do the adaptation of this drama it would be better. I hope Wang Anyu accepts good modern drama bcs I really want him to play in modern dramas,. Watching him in a modern drama, it is delightful :)

I really like XRH's acting skills in TBT but imo XRH would not portray the FL's role. it seems like highschooler role would not suit her. i think production team would have found a much experienced actress the drama will have the deserved attention and points. or the FL would have been accepted the kissing scenes the drama would be better. I cannot think of a name lol.

same thoughts!! while reading the novel you can feel the affection btw them. in the drama FLs some conversations feel like she is bombarding sentences and subjects. even though FL's acting skills are good, kissing thing really ruined the drama.

imo novel is much better than the drama even though i did not finish it, bcs there are some details that makes sense.but in drama some scenes does not make sense.

ah also in the novel CLZ's father slapped his face. even though his brother want him to come back to home CLZ does not want to go back. so it seems like there is some problem btw CLZ and his father

The drama is going so well but people are already downgrading. i think so far it is solid above 8 point
