I think in the novel there must be a reason for it but imo his parents want him to have a good future and for him he wants to go far from his parents bcs it seems like he is not happy with his current life. I have just started to read the novel so im just guessing

same thoughts 🥲 I have just started to watch and learned that new eps are gonna aired irregularly. it is not fair!!! first they aired 4 eps at the same day and then decreasing the amount of eps that they air?? if it is related to the network's strategy or sth, it is not gonna work lol. there must be another logical reason

omg yesss. holly molly it was such a mess every night wei shao🔥 and not treating xiao qiao well just seeing her body as a sexual object. in the drama he actually respects her. now i cannot see the drama wei shao innocent😂 thank god ml acting is so good that giving realistic mimics and green flags!

I regretted reading the novel -thankfully didnt finished-while waiting for new eps. the characters are so different from the novel. I actually hate the novel wei shao and Xiao Qiao's character not that much deep and intelligent in the novel. In the drama everything is better and well-designed in terms of character development and script. The novel is so +18 :d
