I'm depressed after watching that ending. Not even kidding. I had a slight doubt that he gave the flower to the…
It is definitely hard to accept. From the very beginning I think his mind was set. He didn't want to return to his old life with so many responsibilities. I just think of the ending as him being selfish and choosing to remain as Lianhua for the time he has left.
for me it's just the same, just the order of shoot was a lil bit diff and in the cctv version they didn't zoom…
MLC team were able to add tiny details like his lotus hair accessories reflecting his deteriorating health. I wouldn't be surprised if that little change in the ending held a deeper meaning as well
That monk said to LXY that because of the poison your face will change and even your closest friends wont be able…
I forgot where I read it but someone said the reason they could never recognize him despite their doubts is because Li Lianhua doesn't match the glorious image of Li Xiangyi that they have in their heads. Someone who is barely getting by and is wearing cheap clothing could never be the amazing Li Xiangyi.
Why isnt CY picking picking up any new dramas? Hero legends eneded some time ago. Is he still resting because…
He usually takes a few months after ending filming but this time there was the injury on top of that. Maybe he's working on other stuff first while choosing his next script. Once he joins a crew it'd be difficult to take time off to film materials for endorsements etc.
I never see them as bff. More like frenemy. Actually I am very disappointed that they didnt show more on LLH and…
By the end I think they both lost their reason to consider each other enemies and even formed a friendship. Even before the east sea battle they were able to negotiate a truce. I feel like they've always had mutual respect. They're actually my favorite duo because they understand what the other went through very well. They're probably the only ones who can understand the other.
I think cheng yi could act the ending parts of the novel in the best way.but the open ending broadcasted.
Rumors say they might show a different ending in CCTV. I heard people say that the script followed the novel ending too so maybe the iqiyi ending was the alternate.
He played in Modern drama lately called draw the line and he didn't die or got sick , he was healthy judge and…
Not really. I see a lot of fans on twitter who watched DTL despite the terrible subs. It was also streamed in True ID Thai recently. Its centered around China's judicial system so its understandable that it won't be as appealing to international audience unlike his other dramas. I don't really watch court dramas but I gave it a try and found myself enjoying the complicated stories and how the different judges dealt with their own struggles as people who bore huge responsibility in people's lives. I found the drama because of Chengyi and I'm glad.
Ok. Who here have it on authority that fast track ruin ratings? Why is it consider bad when a show finish showing…
Based on what other people have said, its usually not good when they fast track dramas because it will finish airing sooner. The drama will have less time to gain traction/popularity and the discussions might lessen once all episodes are out.

Draw the Line was awesome, and its very well received too in China. The cases was remaked and inspired by real…
I enjoyed watching it too and endured the terrible subs. I don't really watch court dramas so I was surprised when I ended up liking it. The cases are interesting and I love how they displayed people having conflicting views on things. The characters are really layered too! They're all just working hard to get better despite their flaws.
Its understandable tho that its not everyone's cup of tea.
Someone said SGD not dead in the novel. He's the bad guy. Unless the drama version change it
If a lot of people are already thinking its Shan Gudao then its probably not gonna be him. With the cases alone there's so many twists and turns that its difficult to guess who the real culprit is. I think Shan Gudao is just the red herring.
I'm really looking forward to this. I have been seeing pictures of Chengyi riding horses on set and fighting while surrounded by large crowds. It must have been difficult to film action scenes involving lots of people while wearing heavy armor and enduring the heat in Hengdian! Seeing all the effort of the crew makes me really excited to see the finished product and I've also been reading lots of praises for the directing team and the novel the drama is based on. Praying for the success of HL 🙏
