He knew from the jump she was interested in another man and still caught feelings. That's on him. He chose to leave with no return date because she wouldn't say what he wanted. That's on him. He chose not to reach out all during that time. Again that is on him. He acts just as immature and says hurtful things and is at least 10 years older than Gil Chae but poor widdle Jang Hyun. Never could stay. 😴 Again. That is on him.

I hope Jang Hyun continues to pine and long and do everything for Gil Chae all the while she gives no fucks about him. Even though thats not whats shown on screen. But since you get a different channel, hopefully you’ll see more of this!! 🥰😍😘

Jang Hyun was dead. Was she supposed to be alone forever? Be considered a spinster? She was already considered old for an unwed woman and this man was good to her for 3 years. Not many people married for love.

But that is my point? In this episode there was nothing she could do for him. She's barely in it and we don't even know if he sees her right away. I'm also finding it hard to imagine what she could do for him while there when she has zero power and her life is at stake at any point.

But I have faith in the writer. We saw Jang Hyun with all the pov and I'm sure we'll get Gil Chaes next.

Right. She was also engaged/basically married when Jang Hyun wanted her to run away with him and kissing. He literally said he did not care.

Cheating has been around forever. People acting scandalized or like the show is ruined is a choice.

We will have to agree to disagree. We barely saw her this episode. Gil Chae chose the life she chose. She is obviously not in love with her husband. But considering this was supposed to be the end for Jang Hyun and her (as she told him to forget her in her letter) I dont see a problem with her being content and accepting in her choice.

People want her to suffer and be miserable so bad. Yall will get your wish coming up.

More than that. The woobifying of Jang Hyun like he's not part of the reason they ended up the way they did. Like he didn't know from early on her feelings were elsewhere for another man.
Or how he did not have to go to Simyang just because Gil Chae wouldn't lie to him about her feelings for YeonJun. He's just as terrible at communication and has said just as many hurtful things as she has. But unlike Gil Chae whose whole life and responsibilities are in Hanyang, he wouldn't be sacrificing anything to be with her. Not people he cares, not even his reputation.

What exactly did she do this episode for this kind of reaction? Wild.

Gil Chae was barely even in this episode and the comment section has already started doing what it does best. 🙄
