I don't care about the ending currently. I care about the journey. And the journey in part 2 is just not working for me. 3 episodes left and they haven't even become a real couple nor have they truly talked everything out. Not to mention how sidelined the crown prince haas been aswell as Eun Ae. Knowing whay history has in store ... I don't understand the focus on characters who add nothing. Just how rushed it will be to get to where it began.

It's hard to believe that the same writer wrote part 1 and now part 2. All that anticipation for this? Next weeks episodes doesn't look any better and considering we are running out of time? A waste.

The webtoon is not complete. But the couple is solid and in love in it. The only thing that could make it an unhappy ending is whatever the writer chooses to do with time travel and the date on their wrists. But they haven't got there yet so who knows.

I wasn't even truly disappointed it was postponed. I am looking forward to this episode at least based on the pre release. Hopefully GC amd JH can actually move forward. I enjoy angst but at this point it's just dragging.

I'm not sure how I feel about an extension other than it confirming to me that the useless princess storyline was pure fan service and took up valuable time needed elsewhere. At the very least the princess storyline has waned my obsession with this show and I've been able to start watching other kdramas again.

An extension focusing on Gil Chae and Jang Hyun being in actual relationship? Or a more in depths look to the political warfare that is coming for the crown prince and everyone around him with his return? Sign me up

I'll have to rewatch to see if i can match up the farmers to the people on the beach but I thought they were younger than those we saw captive.

Tbh i never thought how he looked at them was because of who they were. Unless I'm remembering wrong?
But wasn't he tired, potentially injured and he and his sword full of blood?

We see that with other characters including her father. But to me she is the only one out of place. She comes off too much as caricature and it takes me out of the show and its flow everytime she appears.

The princess character remains the biggest waste of screen time and seems so out of place. Everything seems semi realistic and based in what could happen and then here comes makjang princess. Her character just doesn't fit in with the rest of the show.

Im pretty sure the beach scene has to do with the princes murder and all those around him. Especially based on the opening scene in the 1st episode of part 1.

If the prince is returning then we've jumped time again for their final return. Not to mention with 4 episodes left there's still alot needing focus to get answers from where we started.

I don't know what this means.

Jang Hyun pushing her away and telling her they are nothing.

WonMu having another woman after abandoning her and getting said wife and getting said woman pregnant. Trash trash trash.

Also her dad being the one to strangle her.

My poor baby deseves better.

Rooting for Gil Chae to cheat tomorrow . Don't let me down girl.

Loved this episode but the Princess once again ruined the vibe. Also Ryang Eum ... Jang Hyun ain't yours. Whats happened to not being selfish. 😮‍💨

Its not wrong nor am I looking atvit from a 2023 perspective. She hasn't done anything yet and her husband doesn't even know she is with her ex suitor because he abandoned her. Maybe wait til he finds out and see how he reacts before clutching your pearls.

We know he ain't against killing them soo...

She can love whoever she wants without punishment. WonMu chose to propose to her knowing she was pining for another and then marry her even after she ran away with him a few days before their wedding.

That's on him.

As for banging? Realistically Gil Chae would have been raped and assaulted by men while kidnapped. Would he punish her for that? Actually maybe he would since he abandoned her.

And if she does bang Jang Hyun whose going to tell? And if someone did tell well I'm sure WonMu will jump straight to murder as was his right back then like he did when she ran away before marriage.

Because none of this was his fault of course. Its not like he could have caught up to her had he taken her kidnapping seriously and prevented her from actually becoming a slave. It's not like he wasn't offered to find out who bought her and bring her home and not abandon her at the thought another man had her. It's not like he couldn't have allowed YeonJun to go himself to find GilChae and was more concerned about what people would say about him. Oh wait... anyone of these things would have prevented Jang Hyun from having to play the role of loving progector. Something WonMu the husband was supposed to do.

So?

The fact that you are more hung up on her being married rather than the fact that her husband saw the conditions of the slave market and still abandoned her not knowing if she was being beat or raped is ..a choice?

Of all the things women are shown to be going through and the injustice of war on this show you're stuck on potential adultery?

Men through away their wives and viewed them as dirty and tainted back then. Cheating happened back then.

I don't know what more you need. All these things happened during that time period. But also Gil Chaes morals haven't been what most were as we see in the beginning with her more than willingly going after a taken YeonJun.

So again? What is the problem? If you know your husband abandoned you .. what is the reason to rush back to him? Was it that simple for women to say let's divorce! And it was no biggie back then? She has to walk foŕ a month to a man who isnt willing to save her? Opposed to nursing a man who is willing to die for her back to health?

Why doesnt WonMu come back and divorce her? He left that marriage the moment he left without bringing her home. Gil Chae has been far more loyal to him and this marriage and has showed him more respect by not tryinh to contact Jang Hyun despite the fact she could be killed at any point.

He literally saved her life and is the reason she is now a free woman. He is more than just a former suitor.

Gil Chae does know the actions of her husband. She was told he came and abandoned her.

He didn't suddenly become a petty jealous man. We saw shades of this in part 1 including his willingness to lie and use situations to get what he wants. You not willing to accept what has been portrayed on screen is certainly your choice but doesn't make it true.

You who loves to talk about what's appropriate and acceptable in the Joseon era should know her husband is acting fully in character of a man in that time period. So what really is the problem?
