It take few episode to get in. After that you get hooked. he gets human form after few episode.

Jiang Meng Jie acted well. Initially no romance but she showed the vulnerable emotion at the end.
Cheng Yan Qiu showed cheery emotion.

Both were beautiful. They deserve more role than others.

Oh first few episode is ok. it gets better and better. i dont know how it ends but directing and acting is very good. cgi probably from 2008 chinese show level.
its more about story and direction and under dog story.

I mean demon slowly slowly gets powerful. he gets external help along the way.

Probably best monkey god story.

1. Main Lead
2. Jiang Yi Yi ( its her face or acting , i am smitten over her. Give her lead role please. Enough waiting)
3. Both other Female leads are beauty queens in homely way. They dont look chinese. Plastic surgery? Looks natural face though.
4. Acting in a funny way. You should not take it in serious way some of the things. Its entertaining. No bad acting in the drama.

Probably best Monkey God story and drama and movie. Most of monkey God story sucks except this one.

Normally i dont like chen xiao drama but this one fit him. Good narration and kick arse heroine made it very watchable. Good drama.

Normally i critique all chinese drama acting. I think Bai Lu acting was very good. LYX matched it every scene. Its like Two Stalwart actor and actress go one up on each other in every scene.

Those two literally focus and carried the drama. I think OST was also good. CGI and Settings also good.

For me Blood of youth had better action CGI. I like Blood of youth.
Bai Lu already showed her skills in LEGEND first half. 2nd half killed by XUKAI (worst actor)

Netflix is like chinese grocery store or canada computers in canada. At first they priced so cheap and killed all small computer shop over night. Then raised the price.

Same thing with netflix. They literally took over kdrama. Most of their dramas are western cultural influence. More hollywood style. I dont like netflix made dramas

I like old kdrama family romance drama. Kdrama is famous because of family and romance angst.

Chaebol.. dramas.

THIS DRAMA IS VERY VERY GOOD

Bai Lue is the most versatile actress. No over acting just right. She gives new different vibe in every role in this drama. Male lead is no slouch either. They are basically killing it. Very rarely you see you equally gifted in lead. This drama has it all. Master Piece in acting. I liked blood of the youth because action cgi was spectacular on par with evernight season1. This one is more artistic. I want to know process behind set and lighting. They should release a video on how every episode is done.

Basically korea must limit netflix from producing too many shows but it seems they fall into their own swords...i mean money...good times will end eventually.

Netflix killed all other studios in KDRAMA LAND? They dont make old style family dramas anymore. Most of these netflix dramas looks too hollywood. Except few rest are destroying korean society with deviant behaviours
