I initially dropped it b/c I thought the problem was the switch of actresses, but after death's game and moving I grew to love the actress. So I started it again, turns out the problem wasn't the actress nor the chemistry, the writing was just unbearably soap-level bad: - They dragged out the amnesia until the last 2 episodes, and they had no reaction to it, b/c he was already in love with the new Naksu and didn't care about the old one that much apparently. - Naksu had a personnality transplant and lost all brain, they turned our smart lead into a damsel, she never got her powers back. - The secondary characters were just there, - there was no solid plot just milking a soapy story - I couldn't follow the characters logic in anything...
Anyway a total waste of my time, fortunately the FL did other projects and won't be remembered for this flop
Also, they put Jang UK in an unnecessary mental dilemma, then put him to move on, thinking it's someone else, but it turns out to be the dead lover, seems like a ..... trap.... I don't know how to say the right word, but if it were me, I'd go crazy.
This is such a disappointment... Felt like there was little to no chemistry unlike S1. And the Naksu we used to…
That's why I hated the amnesia trope, on top of that almost until the end... because it took all the characterization of Naksu's real personality from the first season, it's hard for an actress with two episodes remaining it manages to have the same personality as in the first season, She should have recovered your memories much earlier, like in ep 5 or 6 for the progression of the character's personality to be more natural. I vehemently blame the writers for this... Hence some people say that it was not the fault of the actress.
One thing is for sure, before this drama maybe almost nobody knew the actress Go Yoon Jung, but now everyone talks about her good or bad, becoming famous even internationally. Good or bad, what matters is that they talk LOL 😂 She should get a popularity award (I'm being ironic! I'm just kidding with the situation)
Chess Man They made Jang Uk overcome naksu and make him believe that he is falling in love with someone else, but in the end she is the same person he fell in love with in the past (Naksu). Anyone would go crazy.... And it's not the only confusion this season....
Our all so mighty ML who is supposedly feared by even the greatest of mages thanks to the power of the ice stone, was somehow rendered into a middle schooler both in emotions and inconsistency.
In the 2nd ep when the servant girl asks the queen like this, "How does it feel to greet your first day as queen?" And when the queen answers: "a shit" I swear I laughed so, so hard... Sometimes I still remember it here at home and I laughed all by myself lol... Epic drama... Very funny
Is it that hard to see it's the same person? He has no choice because he is destined to love this soul no matter…
The plot in season 2 is nothing to sing home about. It’s just Jang Uk running circles around the elephant in the room: the identity of Naksu who is traipsing right under his nose.
Is it that hard to see it's the same person? He has no choice because he is destined to love this soul no matter…
He wasn't drunk when he kissed her, he was already sober when she woke him up when she touched his face. After he kisses her she says "you're still dreaming, it breaks my heart", and he replies "I'm not dreaming" he says "do you recognize me?" and he says "yeah you woke me up". When he kissed her he thought of her as Jin Bu Yeon, not Naksu. That's why a lot of people didn't like it. He should kiss her thinking of her as Naksu and not as Jin Bu Yeon. It was a slap to the Jang Uk/mu deok storyline in the first season. In my opinion they should have only kissed at least when Jang Uk found out that she was Naksu, it would be much more special.. It's my opinion.. It's worth what it's worth...
It was a BIG MISTAKE for Jang Uk to fall in love with Jin Bu Yeon without first knowing who she really was (Naksu).…
Even worse was seeing Jang Uk go to the cliff where Naksu had fallen and went to drink in the bedroom thinking about Naksu and that same night kisses Jin Bu Yeon.... 🤮 Is that what true love for Naksu was??? For God's sake... 🤮
What now? humiliating? My boy Uk's reputation 🤧Coming from my own love experience, I might think in her place…
But here in this story it's not a normal moving on.. because it changes to the same person... and that person is alive... the writers knew that very well.. if it was a moving on with a new person, then i would agree with you.
It was a BIG MISTAKE for Jang Uk to fall in love with Jin Bu Yeon without first knowing who she really was (Naksu). The objective of the story should be Jang Uk and Naksu with an INSEPARABLE UNION, and automatically that union breaks when he decides to move on and not care about Naksu anymore.. And in the end he discovers that she is Naksu and she recovers her memoirs. I feel sorry for Naksu, because I imagine how she must have felt to know that Jang Uk didn't care about her anymore, since he had no idea that she was naksu..
That long kiss they give in episode 7 it is breathtaking! They are so natural together in that kiss, it even felt like a real kiss, in real life, my god!!
