Engnima is only going to tell you how this show is the best thing since slice bread, people like that does not give you a true representation of why the ratings is dropping. He/she is trying to pretend I didnt watch the show enough to give you reasoning. I have been watching and will finish as there is no other show to watch and im trying to see if they have anything that will redeem themselves towards the end.

Ep17 BYT wants to kill him by the lake, ep15 BYT had control of the bell and let him live for no reason. See how ridiculous this is. No consistency in the writing. The screen writer and people that went over the script are complete amateurs .

Fight scene 10/10, environment and atmosphere 10/10, potential 9/10, cast 9/10, acting 8/10, screen writing/script 3/10, plot 4/10, execution in suspension of disbelief 2/10 - terrible way to use lazying writing to drive the plot. Worst YY wuxia to date. I probably had too much anticipation and high hope last year waiting for this to drop. Total disappoint. This is an opinion. ep15: why did the 2ML use the bell against Zhi Hau then stop and then later Zhi Hua used the trap on him. 2ML was already willing to kill in previous ep but magically decides not to finish this guy off. For what reason? So he can later use the trap against him? What am I missing here - seems dumb to me but what do I know.

My main grip is: the cast, the budget and the setting is all here for a great wuxi but for some reason the bad script got approved. There are glimpses of a great movie level wuxia drama and it uses that to mask the underlying problem of bad writing.

The inconsistency is in your face. In the fight scenes, you can tell Zhan Zhao uses kill moves where if the opponent didnt move out of the way with their own skills, Zhan Zhao's move was deployed to kill and would have killed the opponent during the fight, yet when Zhan Zhao wins the fight and is given the opportunity to kill his opponents he doest and let them go. I dont understand how you dont see that, you seem pretty level headed from all the comments I've seen you address.
