It's not a bad ending per se, but it's not a happy ending either. I personally didn't like the ending, but I loved the whole series and would still recommend it. It's probably the best Asian gay series. I don't use the term BL because some people only consider BL to be light-hearted, romantic stories with happy endings, and I don't want to confuse those individuals.

I totally agree with you, I was so excited when I knew there was going to be another OffGun series, and now that I watched it I'm super disappointed because it was such a waste of their talent.
