Wow what a journey and roller coaster of emotions. It was beautiful in its own way that i feel honored to have met wifan and sang yan. For me it is rare to feel a drama come full circle like this one did. And it helped to feel satisfied and content. Overall we got such a feel good, happy and fulfilling ending but still why can’t i help but cry and want to see more 😭it’s hard letting go but at least we know they are living happily

wow, yess you are pretty spot on! the prime minister is definitely one if the main ones pulling the strings here, using The Prince essentially, acting on his own terms saying he has the Prince’s best interests. I don’t quite remember the purpose of characters like Princess Runing just added to my confusion 😅 I felt like she was just there to make the Princess of Valor look even more bad 🙃(which is true lol 💀) The male lead’s father’s case was actually a bit suprising (for me at least idk about anyone else) but that will be revealed more later towards the end 👀 But yep you are on track to cracking this drama 😂.

At this point (the beginning of the drama) I thought the Princess of Valor was the mastermind and primary culprit behind the main story (about the moth sect/cult) but soon got lost in everything else that I didn’t know what to think 🙃 don’t wanna spoil much so i’ll leave it at that 😂

YES and YESS~ the writers just like playing mind games with us lol bc they just have you going in circles, doubting and second guessing everyone and everything 💀 subtitles definitely felt off and sure didn’t help with all the confusion. I thought my brain was reading wrong or something 😂😭

Just finished this one 8.5 for me. Overall i really enjoyed it. I was surprisingly able to get thru the whole investigation plot bc boyy was this one packed 😮💨. Even tho i finished i still don’t completely understand half of what happened. Thankfully it was all explained in the end.
You don’t necessarily need to follow or understand everything (i sure didn’t lol) but do need the patience and have a like for crime and detective shows.
The last few episodes had me worried how this was gonna end. The way they divorced broke my soul fr, her heartbreak was heartfelt, so the way they simply got remarried without any other kind of resolution,apology or anything has me flipping tables. Yess i understood she knew something was up but my girl didn’t deserve that treatment without any explanation 😤…but maybe that’s just me anyway done with my rant.
All in all the ending did give closure but not enough for me, for the above reason 😭. Still glad for the happy ending and for seeing such a good chemistry from these two actors! Now on to the next Ding Yu Xi drama 💗
