it’s actually not true. Both of them cheated. He was cheating on her emotionally and had feelings for the neighbor and was spending afternoons with her while their spouses were at work. She cheated on him physically by sleeping with her ex-boyfriend after they had an argument. She blackmailed the neighbor and she ended up actually paying her off which confirmed her suspicion that they had something going. Two cheaters just cheating in a different way.

So one was cheating emotionally and the other cheated sexually but spent half the drama taking advantage of other cheaters. They were a toxic couple and getting divorced was the right decision. Hopefully that ending was just physical and doesn’t mean they would get back together. Of course the usual suspects are in the comment section boohooing about the unfair depiction of men and constantly excusing the emotional cheating he was doing through the series. The show depicts different forms of cheating. He was emotionally entangled with another woman to the point of developing feelings whilst she resorted to the sexual component of cheating. Both disgusting and inappropriate behavior for a married couples. Which is worst is truly up to you to decide. Some people can come back from it when it’s simply sex whilst others draw the line at emotional cheating where feelings develop and vise versa.

Thise are some weird ass people. That’s wild cause the ML is not that attractive. Both of them fall under the not so conventionally attractive category. Most historical dramas have some level of accurate portrayal of real life events. It’s pretty much accurate and probably takes place around the same time as my dearest. The Qing dynasty did invade and the second brother was held hostage. It seems like this drama might be based on Hyojong of Josen.

Watching a historical drama that depicts gender based violence against women during that period yet being sexist and ageist in the comments is crazy. What is the problem? The acting is great. She has chemistry with the ML? The reality is that if we changed up the story and it was about an older male widow there would be zero discussion about his age. If the age is what you are stuck on and not the overall treatment of humans during that period you might want to check your empathy and drop this drama.

You would never say this about male actors that are 40 plus that are doing action movies and shows. Jackie Chan is over 40 and the man can still jump over walls and roofs if he wanted to. If you are highly trained as she was and you stay fit you can definitely do the moves she doing.

Everyone cheats but don’t pretend like statistically men don’t cheat more often compared to women. You can argue against that if you want but it is a FACT. They even cheat most when their wives are pregnant. You said the FL was emotionally cheating that is bull. If you got to episode 2 before she met him at the bar she didn’t respond to not one of his messages. She met him for drinks after she got into a fight with the ML. She spent the entire time emotionally dejected from that man. She even called her friend and said she hates being there and spent half the time texting her boyfriend who wasn’t responding. Again, I agree that she probably should not have went to have drinks with him. But she was not emotionally cheating. As for the elevator scene she was in total shock. The guy had to guide her into the elevator initally. Again you are so outraged about the elevator scene when he carried a drunk woman on his back into the hotel. was that not disrespectful? He took off his ring and was drinking with another woman. He was looking at her body and was into her sexually. He went with her willingly to a hotel and was again tempted to sleep with her. However, we know that he didn’t sleep with her either. The FL should not have engaged with that man as well but she didn’t go to the hotel willingly. He didn’t sleep with the girl even though he thought about it and she blacked out and her friend took her to the motel. When she woke up she had all her clothes and left.
