Yes you completaly right. Problem is, that your comment can be made for many of the 2025-k-Dramas.
I couln't say better. I spent most of the times in 2025 rewatching older series and I found them ever better the second time compared with the new one. I discovered too C-dramas and some historical ones are really very good. But I still hope to appreciate k-dramas. I finished 2025 with "pro bono" and did like it quite a lot.I have a lot of expectations in January with "Positively yours" with Choi Jin Hyuk, because he is a very charismatic actor very funny and with his experience I think he can choose good storylines.

agree with you. But the worst are the k-dramas produced bye Disney.
Agree again. As I don't have the possibility to watch TVN nor SBS nor MBC, last year (2025) I have rewatched many older K-Dramas and watched many marvellous C-Dramas. But I feel confident about K-dramas, some are still very good. Seing Pro Bono at the time and I love it.

again agree with you. I saw the 2 k-dramas you named and liked them very much. Don't misunderstand me, I didn't mean that I don't like de Woo Do Hwan. He is not special to me but I appreciate him as an actor as many other ones.

Again agree with you. I don't follow especially Woo Do Hwan, but I am (stil) a huge fan of Yoo Ah In. He was incredible in Burning and in Voice of silence, films where he put a lot of weight on, far away of a glamour guy. I miss him so much. Not seing his him anymore is a big loss for entertaining (and not only korean but international).

The best thing about this show is it’s just 8 episodes and it ends quickly if you forward, So yeah, thankfully…
agree with you, Lee Jun Ho spoiles his talent since the hugh success of the Red sleeve. Before that, he was an actor playing in good K-dramas, but since this, Lee Jun Ho plays Lee Jun Ho and the producers think probably that anything will be a success because of his fanbase. He should take example on his friend Nam Konng Min.

agree with you. The last K-dramas are very disappointing. Spent more time rewatching oldest K-dramas or watching…
In fact on Netflix France as well on Viki Europe they don't propose interesting korean films. They don't have the commercial rights to diffuse them, I guess. You just have the possibility to watch the films selected in international film festivals on screen or DVD. There is a korean film festival one week pro year in Paris, but the films are just projected 1 or 2 times. Never again. It is a pity really, because there is a public for it.

OK. No idea about films, because in France unfortunately not many films are projected.

What a good surprise when I saw this serie I didn't know anything about it, but it is a real gem. Such funny dark humour. Wonderfull to make smile with such dark subjects. So nice and tender to see the interaction between the two characters. Unusual and rare.

The storyline is not very good indeed but this serie is really funny. The interaction between all the characters, the dialogs, the acting made this drama very enjoyable. From time to time I rewatch 20 minutes of it, and there is always a situation which makes me smile or laugh like watchins a sketch. Lee Seung gi is perfect in comedy. There are plenty of characters, and all participate to the fun.
