imo he used NH like a tool. He didn’t love NH he used him to get more power.
Maybe, but he did contribute to a lot of Nanheng's growth, and the type of emperor he wanted Nanheng to become would likely eliminate him first rather than a puppet emperor.
What throws me off the most about CGH's character is his attitude towards Nan Heng and the imperial family in general. Like dude is just a cousin. Just a military general... but somehow he's allowed to tell them off and talk back and stand with his head held high in front of them like that. He openly attacks Nan heng and gets let off scot free. He'd be beheaded in other dramas by now. No matter how much you hate a prince, you don't act like that in front of them.

At what point could the ML communicate tho... Like the moment he takes off his mask she hates him. Even when he was defending himself with the mask on she just dismissed him saying he doesn't know the truth. He said so many times Nanheng Isn't like what she thinks she didn't listen. Feel like at some point they could've added her asking li shiliu what he knows about nanheng or like something
Rewatched ep 1 and noticed it wasn't mentioned who turned Fl into a human stick, she just skipped to that part. And it seems like she missed a lot of details, too. Did the original FL have the death reset ability already? The original script had the 3-way stabbing and tornado, but what happened after the tornado? Why is there a tornado? Where'd they go? Did she die and reset? Also, the jumping off the wall while being shot and pregnant... she gotta die after that too, right? Maybe there were at least 2 resets, but she just skimmed past and didn't notice, or her memories are actually incomplete? Is the reason someone turned original FL into a human stick at the end because her abilities were discovered, and it's to prevent her from committing suicide and resetting? saw some theories that the FL might have already transmigrated while she was sleeping on the bus, and not when she was at home reading the script. He's already a prince But nobody respect him as one. he's got an army and martial skills But he's restricted to use it for anything cuz the people against him is his emperor father, prince Brother, and another general with military power. Really not much he can do since his uncle has fallen too

Like he's fixated on that feeling of someone being on his side and unconditionally trusting him in lsl's identity. He's never had that since youth so he craves it. The way he keeps begging to trust him once more as nh breaks my heart. The screenwriter really ruined his life in multiple ways 😫😫

Sighs it's so frustrating seeing nanheng get blamed for bad things but all of them don't bother to look for evidence to support their claim. Just "he's bad so it must be him". Even criminals get a chance to trail but he never gets it. Its like watching someone get accused of crimes he didn't do and nobody wanna listen to his explanation or says hes lying even if he explains.
