U cant bring in script part and mix that cuz that's literally just imagination. She doesn't have any trauma memories for those events.... That's like judging him for things he haven't even done just cuz she read some words. Y'all could just judge him base on what he actually did and not imagination scenes from ep 1

WE see the script very much change. she doesn't see as much as us. but she also got first hand experience in being controlled again to complete the scripted scenes. it's right for her to believe nanheng will be controlled agaisnt his will too

she's not stupid. but you think she's stupid just like how she thinks nanheng is evil.

i don't think people should expect song yimeng to change right now . she's got first hand experience in being control and saying and doing things completely opposite of what she wants. she's gonna believe that nanheng might get control too to complete his part even if he has no intention to kill her anymore. we really gonna have to wait for something that'll truly convince her, like if things change on the next highlight. And If she find out lsl identity before then she's gonna be even more devastated And convinced about the script

huh? she likely fell in love with LSL's aura + script mechanism that she must like who FL likes. (and honestly can't blame her, LSL is hot even without face reveal). And the only reason she even ask nangrui that question is cuz she knows he can't answer it and a way to tell him to give up. at the beginning she said she will only marry someone she really likes or wont marry at all and describe aspects very similar to LSL. She'll probably start off liking shanguang due to LSL filter. ....... but no need to twist her character if you dislike her😓

we've always been in the original script. the only one that truly seems awaken and strayed from original path is ML. They were putting our guard down by those tiny little details and changes in other characters. but the main plot is still going back on track even by force

Theory that emperor either was the first to awaken and knew about his fate or heard some prophet tell him Nanheng is the "chosen one" and will rebel and kill him. That's why he's been trying to kill Nanheng since he was a child but because he's the male lead he can't be kill by the emperor. He was planning to kill Nanheng but empress died instead. That slash was also to kill Nanheng but only cut his arm. All the mistreatment He got in the cold palace was to kill him but failed. Then He gets sent to fight wars but still doesn't die. He Never needs to find out the truth about Nanheng cuz He's the one spreading the bad rumors. Even when he told Nanheng to chop hand he end up kicking to stop him. Was the kick his own will or controlled? Also got stopped when choking him. I really can't see anything but hate from him for Nanheng.

I think that's the point. His behavior is extremely NPC. No thoughts. Just following what he's set to do which is distrust this son and abuse him

I feel like we're being played right now... Even the fl is being played We think the characters are awakening but actually no we're still stuck in the script storyline. Everyone's behavior might seem different just like how the storyline might seem different but everything is still moving according to the script. The script also created mechanism to "correct" things that deviated from the script. Like it knows fl won't fall in love with ml so lsl formed. Like how fl wants to marry 2nd to stray from plot but instead of brutally killing and reset it became ml mom interfering. Ml not becoming the villain ml in the script so it'll keep pressuring him to snap and rebel by making everyone even more unfair towards him and all the misunderstandings piling up on him cuz script says he's "the bad guy”. Characters are making illogical ooc moves and we think theres some hidden truth behind certain events but it's really just the scriptwriter's skill issue leaving plotholes like who killed empress? Whats the weapon formula? Like are these just things to push the plot but doesn't actually exist? Feels like the only thing that actually changed is ml fell in love with fl and real changes will form from this. Like he's gonna protect her from her fated death 🤔🤔🤔

Because she firmly believes in the script and he didn't appear in the script. If he was nanheng that would definitely be in the script

Feels like the 18 prince changed ever since that butterfly landed on him. Before he was stupid but felt kinda innocent. But Now not only does he not feel guilty about what he's done during the festival he even talks shit about nanheng's mom right in front of his face. Unimaginable from someone who use to be shaking just sitting with NanHeng

You have to see the original script as a senseless peice of work that screenwriter just trying to create for clout and shock factor for their drama to go viral.

Starting to feel like the emperor is control/coded by screenwriter to be abusive to Nanheng cuz he is the "male lead". He must be the "tragic male lead" and the emperor needs to be the one who turn him into the merciless villainous "male lead". He's suppose to make Nanheng snap but Nanheng is enduring all the abuse still. So He ends up continuously and illogically abusing Nanheng to keep the plot moving 🤔🤔🤔

The "script"" compile a bunch iconic moments of popular dramas. Its kind of a joke about cdrama producers always liking to copy and remake whatever got popular

He could say nh's uncle instructed him to do so. So gao will keep distance from nh.

I believe cgh's father and empress are siblings hense why 18 calls cgh cousin. Wildly guessing it's emperor himself. He needs to suppress gao family and by framing nh for empress's death he can have an excuse to keep gao fam under control. And He also needs cgh And nh to not be on good terms so cgh fam can dedicate themselves to serving 18🤔🤔
