where is TLC's best bud SLH?... can't stand XFT and that Puzhu supposed monk that seems to be infatuated by her and cannot function when she is around..... and the ghostly peony that wouldn't die... this story reflects real life lessons..... not all friends will remain true friends, some just using what you can offer.... while the baddies will always remain as baddies and don't ever trust them no matter how they swear to have become a decent human being.... etc etc.... can't wait to see the cockroaches XFT and GP get annihilated...
I have watched AERO in other dramas, but the character Shen here makes him so cool... and he has become more good looking nowadays.... hope he gets more leading roles...
The ending of ep 11 was............ ???!!! FL and don left a sick man alone in the house with no bodyguards patrolling the outside premise, allowing idiots roaming free in and out........... hilarious, script writer fail..... are they staying in a village or a chaebol conglomerate bungalow?
Hope ML acts in other historical dramas.... he looks good in such genre... FL too, just watched her in Pretty Crazy.... may they have more projects, looking forward...
FL in Ep 1 was out-running the horse the King was riding while chasing her in the forest, yet Ep 11 GongGil ask her to run quickly and she wasn't even running (to save her own life) while people were getting killed around her, and she got lassoed ..... hmmm.... I missed the light comedy antics of early episodes...
I think it can be also Madame President. She likes FL but don't want her to become the next president and ML is…
can be to... since SanHo can keep her safe in any situation... and maybe the assassination is a just a show to create diversion or to scare her.... i like this ML/FL combo :-)
I'm curious why the client wanted San Ho specifically. If the goal was to use the bodyguard to spy and help kill…
Valkyrie is a private contractor that can do good or bad for money, I didn't catch the part that the client specifically asked for SanHo coz I though that his team leader was the one that wanted him for the job.... or maybe the "Client" specifically asked for SanHo is coz he is the best so can keep her safe in any situation and the assassination attempt is actually just a ploy to push the blame to a specific country/person etc... shadow play going on...
My guess - The client that engaged Valkyrie's service to be bodyguard for MunJu is actually not for good intention but is set-up to know all her movements and political plans to plan for her assassination (as seen in ep 4/5, SanHo caught on), and the good news was the one that took the job was SanHo, who has always admired since saw her on TV when she was a UN ambassador, giving her speech about proper reunification... so he will actually do a good job at protecting her. I think the "client" maybe the spy/mistress, as the job was given even before she seriously think to go into politics (if i remembered correctly) - as the spy/mistress benefits the most with MunJu gone - JunIk's inheritance, position as his wife etc etc... co-incidentally, the americans also want her gone.... The intense attraction between MunJu and SanHo in the earlier episodes were well portrayed, and how they were trying to control the attraction, the eyes, there gestures, the looking out for each other etc... eventhough what comes out in dialogue differs.... one of the best leading couple's journey to be together... :-)
yes i do agree.... they evolved too much that makes it feel like watching a western series, i still prefer to…
yes those silly and cliche scenes that got us hooked on k-drama from way back are long gone... luckily we got a few surprises from some dramas nowadays.... this drama is a gem :-)
So GongGil was the one paid by that guy to assassinate the king - he shot the king with an arrow (he may have an agenda working for that guy, since he found out the Grand Prince is behind) .... from the back story, GongGil seems to have his revenge backstory towards the palace due to his sister's death?.... so now he found the binyeo weapon (his sister had the same in her hand), he will be observing FL to catch the culprit... that's a good thing a shadow bodyguard... I can't wait to see the dishes she makes with the chillies tomorrow LOL...
I don’t think Gong Gil was the one who fired the arrow. Gong Gil was the one who killed the assassin who attacked…
Oh i see... then it's a good thing, coz Gong Gil is suppose to be the King and the Clown duo.... from the subtitle i must have understood wrongly... thanks for the clarification :-)
I can't take this drama seriously... it looks very comical/comedy genre, everything is juz bad except for the all-star lineup who unfortunately can't save this drama...
