I'm on EP 79, finally thinking to finish it having stopped here when it was still airing to wait for the rest to come out so I can binge it but it's looking like people don't like the end so I'm scared lol.

I finished it now, it was good. I'll check out first man, but I wait til the end because I'm not good at cliffhangers.

I'm only on EP 75 but I was thinking there might be a twist like this and it always makes me think, see this is why you should treat people equally, especially your kids. If you go around treating your bio kids better than step kids or adopted kids that YOU chose to raise, what happens if it turns out that they actually are yours and you've been harming your own kid this whole time?? Harming any kid is disgusting to me, but that's what they get, the knowledge and having to live with the fact that you tormented your own child simply because you thought that they weren't yours. It's trash!

I'm here 2 yrs later and on EP 74. I agree with your points. My opinion is that 95% of kdramas aren't well written so I won't hold this one especially accountable since most of them aren't, I don't think they like smartly written dramas which is why they tend to be written so stupidly with the same dumb tropes. But about your point 4:

DY really is a doofus, it seems like he was coddled as the baby and boy child of the family and this doesn't have any skills and hasn't been forced to work. So he's late 20s and wants to be a rapper? He's Korean, he should have gotten himself into idol training, or get on 1 of the 75 different rap battle shows, or at the very least should definitely have his own YouTube channel going but instead all he does is sit around and waits for another rapping loser to call him out to have a private battle? Who even does that? Rap battles are in front of an audience I thought but those fools just meet in the park and rap at each other. Nonsense! It's funny though. I blame the parents for not making him be a functioning adult. And yeah idk what DR could see in him long term except for a good stay at home dad. I think he would learn how to take care of his child and wife we'll, he at least doesn't seem spoiled nor does he act like he's too good to do hard work. He just hasn't yet been required to.

5. So true that I was also think why haven't they revealed what Mari is so mad at JT for and what she blames him for because they really haven't told us much. And she is definitely crazy and abusive trying to keep him in this marriage to torture him and also torturing her son in the process because that's a toxic environment. They work with a bunch of psychiatrists yet don't think to get themselves some therapy or just discuss the issues themselves and work it out. They just go around being quietly mad and vindictive to each other (mainly Mari) for 30yrs!? Crazy.

6. I really hate how they make SJ react to things and decisions she makes. She's supposedly a famous psychiatrist yet she seems very not psychiatrist like when she's having a problem. Idk how she can justify letting her sister do all that stuff to her and not reveal the truth, and diagnose her mental problem (because her sister definitely has a major one and needs treatment stat). It is ridiculous. Then finding out about her mom and refuses to listen to reason. Like of she wants to just blame her to blame her fine, but don't try to make her into a bad person just because you don't like your upbringing. Things happen. She let the movie star off the hook for being separated with her daughter but wanted to be ridiculous when it came to her own. Yes she came around pretty quickly but still. A psychiatrist should know better than to act like that at all. She should be better at using her words, if you need time say that. If you don't want to talk now say that, even if you're mad, but she acted like a mediocre regular uneducated bum in that instance. Even with breaking up with Uri, shouldn't psychiatrists be better at communicating, discussing feelings, problem solving? She just comes to her own decision and is done and avoidant. She needs to stick by him because he's the only one doing the psych work here.

As for the uncle and teacher, it is a dumb storyline. Idk why he and the mom can't just get together now as 2 consenting adults. Why play with this lady's feelings when he's not that into her? I just feel like Korean rules make things harder than they need to be. Who cares if someone marries their adopted sibling that they didn't even know about, and who cares if the uncle wants to marry an older mother of 3, let the people be happy and mind your own business if they're not harming anyone. I would even say who cares if a sister marries her sister's former fiance, except we all know that NY plotted that mess because she's obsessed and needs to be locked in a mental institution.

I guess what I'm saying is, this show where the main characters are psychiatrists, needs all the characters to seek regular therapy stat! And allow smart writing for once, jeez!

I'm only on EP 52 but just like they seem to be promoting adoption, I wish they would promote people getting therapy. The fl's ex and his parents and her sister need major therapy. I'd say the sister shouldndo a stay in an institution. The 2 leads are psychiatrists but so many people around them clearly need to see one. Including the FL with her issue of letting her sister walk all over her and feelings about her mom who "left" her.

I agree, ml was jumping to all kinds of dumb conclusions at first. I'm glad that didn't last long.

That would have been way more interesting because how often does a regular person go from a 9 - 5, to small business owner, to big corporation owner without finding out that they're a cheobol child or some other "lottery" situation.

Literally, grandma died for no reason. Like seriously, families live for decades and decades without a death, life's normal ups and downs are drama enough if you're a half decent creative storyteller. So lazy.

Just finished and I'm so confused as to how we got here. Like what was the point of the last transplant issue coming up? Can we not just have a normal family drama where people have everyday ups and downs and learn everyday life lessons to become better people? Did we need a random and unlikely tragedy occuring at the end just to make a "miracle" happen in order for things to become resolved? Like what was the point?

The drama was so good and I was ready to add it as one of my favs to rewatch in the future, then the writers suddenly decided to ruin it with weird nonsense. Lol, I feel like someone must've challenged the writer in some way, and they were like 'challenge accepted'. Oh well, it was cool for 2/3rds which is better than a lot of others.

That's exactly what I said. You just got diagnosed with a heart condition and so you eat a caffeinated candy? Y'all been eating too many of those things as it's, that probably caused it!

I'm on EP 16, just got the transformation of the female lead and wow! How did they do that? Her face was kinda awkwardly puffy before which used to make me think 'are those fillers or what?' But now the transformation has her face so snatched that I'm like is this a facelift or camera filter because I need that! Of course her makeup is much better, but her face looks so tight and nice now I wonder how they did that? Maybe it was prosthetics in the earlier EPS, any beauty experts understand what I mean? Anyway, love the show so far.

Yeah the lady's secretary seems to work on the sly for her hubby. I think they'll get some redemption bcz evil dad has been threatening to off them or family forcing them to comply.

SH is an embarrassment. Which is why his dad didn't pick him, raised a whining entitled do nothing. Like I literally was trying to think of when I've seen him work this whole show. He's only had meetings with the family and chased around JW, oh and drink dates. I was wondering how JW still liked him after having moved in with him and see that he only always throws tantrums and does nothing else. Meanwhile HN was there as an unjudgmental ear, and helping her with everything she was running around doing, and even upping his game to better support her and now he's VP. I don't want him to get all murder bcz that's cliche and also pathetic, bcz the best you can do is off your opponents? You're a loser! But then that's what his wife YC does basically, but a little less extreme with the theft and sabotage. I wouldn't put it past her though with how jealous she is of people with actual skills.

That's what I understood, she wants to make it seem like they aren't good so the dad doesn't try to off her. But with that, why not like 20 EPS ago did they not put it together that the dad is the worst one who orchestrated all jw's troubles basically trying to get his woman. He's a loon.

He's literally the best character. The rest need lots of therapy and or jail time.

Her mom does all the work for her. Which isn't work, it's crime, but Yc does it stupidly and poorly everytimt so her mom has to use money and power to clean it up.

Technically she was forced into a mental institution, but unfortunately not for long enough and I think they were only holding her like a jail instead of actually trying to help her with her mental issues.

Yeesh, I finished this finally and the end was rough. A very dumb wrap up with all kinds of plot holes. Did they even ever explain why the maid was so obsessed with taking care of just the oldest sister? That made 0 sense. I was catching up with the last 10ish eps and I kept saying, this can't be the end right? This isn't all the eps, there's got to be more. Then at ep125 I looked it up that that really was the end. Yikes. Points off for that lazy halfa$$ ending.

The brother clearly needs help, offer him training then a director position after maybe some lower level training. The younger sister seems smart, offer her a promotion. Then there's no reason for them to be against step mom, who is not trying to oust them, yet the oldest sister is and they're on her side because they're blood? Your sister likes you less than a woman dad just met! Y'all are dumb!

I caught all the way up in less than a week lol. There's a lot of delulu ppl in this show. Why are the siblings looking so scared that Lucia is the acting chairman? She hasn't done anything bad to y'all but your own sister has done all of the horrible things (smurdering the 2md daughters mom and kidnapping the dad twice amongst other things), I'd let anyone off the street be chairman rather than the 1st daughter lunatic! Be happy you were gifted such a nice step mother who actually wants to keep your dad safe and made the youngest into a decent person!

Seriously what kind of logic is it that just because you're related you can wreek all of the havoc that you want and should be forgiven because 'blood'. They're a twisted bunch.

I'm just starting EP 93 but if she's faking amnesia, she'd have to do that at the hospital bcz she wouldn't get near my company or house ever again. Locks would be changed and her picture posted everywhere! But her dad clearly loves being surrounded by people who hate him so...
