Hahaha to me as I love how they adapted it. Its going very good so far and i would have to nitpick to find what i dislike with the main leads but of course the side one really sometimes can be like just there for me bsc I WANT TO WATCH THE LEAD MORE hahahaha. That said its a China movie so of course they matters the most unfortunately.
Not sure about the Chinese side reaction, that said from what i seen online by those drama review mostly is not good hahaha. Saying how absurd the plot is and FL no emotion, the ML is just the ""idol" look and the plot is slow and does not make sense as WYF got molested few time but still living with a guy etc etc......As a novel reader i feel....ahhhh such a shame or is it me?. Like i feel slow burn and truly understanding WYF char is important here...she just dont care about the world anymore and just living day by day bsc her father want her to be happy living and then met SY back then her life start having changes. I mean i feel if anyone else would just suicide no?

Nothing wrong with it. Its a slow burn drama and 100% not meant for anyone and everyone and some plotline are maybe not logical for people watching for logic too haha its all about ML and FL love. Like i watch this novel and love the drama currently So maybe its just not your cup of tea. Nth wrong with it haha.
A drama with not that big of name espeiclally the FML which only appear as supporting with BL and aired almost tgt with one with the bigger name. I just love this better and its up my alley, a lot people said it get boring but to me plot needs to progress and its about time they did it pretty well but of course 1 - 29 absolutely blasted it out the park to make 30 - 38 normal bsc I absolutely love SML and XCC interaction tgt be it good or bad they are both damn lovely and SML straight forward with her love dare to love and after letting her go once XCC also resolve to never do that ever and even through the unfeeling part he stayed with her and even saying he will be with her even if she betrays the world (reminds me of TSL) so GOOD. So yeah 9/10 for me I would give it a 10/10 if there is one EP dedicated after the ending for XCC and SML only showing their life after everything! hahaha

Like you see a lot of this character whom are very annoying from the start have at least a sad story to justify it not that it is good plot bsc its not but its something and this case she is not...She does thing with pure reckless abandon and does not even care for consequences yet she is not punished really to any point.
To me what is she improvising? how is she smart when she gets all the plot amour in EP 10 to absorb knowledge for free just because ML has a good heart toward her especiall?. Its like she is the most worry free char in the whole drama currently yet she act like she is the whole world owes her an explanation.

Is it me or I find the FL is annoying as heck.... what prompt her to act like the way she does?... Her overall story is relatively happy one and brought up to be so brainless. Like the critic against her being reckless, etc are all valid and she does not seem to understand that and how many time does she needs saving at this point its all bsc plot amor I feel the princess even hard headed and wanting to achieve her goals through alot of mean is better plot than her just a destiny fated one (the excuse of heart being pure does not justify some of her action no matter what). and does not even change. I know for plot point... but honestly beside Xiao Zhan acting here her in the scene makes it worst =.=.

Honestly I can look past the annoying colour grading and light issue bsc some scene are well done (thou I give credit to the CXX and LLD) as their acting make the scene so alive. That what I love about this drama the comedy aside without them acting like the way they act it wont be believable and lovely or sad.

As for YT and CF they both straight went to "that not all right its very suitable for two person to enjoy it tgt"

She have people wanted to kill her and starve her, less education (mostly from her sister) so its her defense nature to be upfront about everything bsc she have no one to protect her beside when her sister is there which is rarely. So to me she standing up for herself in every moment while thinking of her sister is powerful for a human 18 years old lady mind you.
She's not some fairy that live hundred or thousand of secluded year. So yea sadly maybe its not up your alley hahaha.
That said, the romance stuff will be full on after EP 26 those but sweet moment happens around ep 9-11 and alot more in the human realm.
