Um... just to clear off some issues a little...about calling Xiang Liu "abusive". It's based some of his actions..I understand how much he sacrifices for Xiao Yao later in the story. However perhaps some actions are not so favorable. Such as he does physically hurt her several times early in the drama. I am not so fond of seeing how he drown(taken advantage of) Xiao Yao (Xiao Liu) just to hurt Cang Xuan. I guess that not everyone find it exciting and romantic. But I do understand why he maybe appealing to many viewers but not everyone. As for Jing to be so coward about dealing with his engagement, perhaps some viewers can forgive him because not everyone make the best choices especially about family issues all the time. I am not sure about prefering Jing or Xiang Liu being mature or immature as it is personal opinion and depending on which type you prefer😅...as it is still fictional. It's the same feeling for whom perfomance you prefer according to which actors you prefer.
