I just finished MLMU era and I just wanna say I miss you so bad.

Yeah for both the dinner and the car scene... literally Atom has to protect Kongthap and come out for him TWICE... Also wasn't Kongthap written as the one who is straightforward and always says things on his mind???

This! I still remember the MSP page blowing up because of how mediocre that Our Skyy episode was. That should have been a sign for me to lower my hope for MLMU. We gave them so much benefits of the doubts already. "Oh maybe they were forced to do it without time to do workshops. Oh maybe they were busy preparing for other things. Oh maybe they were short on staff. " Yes but that does not justify lowering the quality of your projects, especially one with so much potential because of G4.

honestly I'd rather them wait for at least another year... so that greedy GMMTV can ACTUALLY spend their money collected from MSP era on developing better plots and cinematography so that my boys (and for God's sake, other boys/girls in the company) don't get crappy jobs

They didn't even release that scene where Kongthap cried talking to his mom, which completely made Gemini invisible in the last ep. Heck, even Atom has to come out to Kongthap's mom for him. What kind of bullshit is this???

As a diehard KhunNoo, I'm feeling so betrayed. I love both G and F so much that I honestly hope they will never make any series together under GMM again.

This is the problem... In MSP they managed to give background stories, so each character is actually alive. All three parents had enough screen time to interact with one another, with their kids, and even with the Chinzhilla gang. Gun's childhood trauma was so well delivered through Psychology Quiz, making it was one of the best episodes ever written by GMMTV. Tinn's reluctance to tell his mother about his relationship with a "troubled" kid in school was justified because his mom KNOWS who Gun is, not just because of his homosexuality. Every detail has complex layers to it yet the audience could understand it all.

In MLMU it's just empty... Even within the main cast, besides Mudmee-Atom, all the connections are lost. Heck, even Half and Atom as so called "best friends" don't have enough background story. We know nothing about the parents, and we don't see the interaction between them and the kids.

"OH SHIT IT'S CHINZHILLA FOR REAL AND NOT JUST A RANDOM MY CAT PRESIDENT PROP"!!! And like many of us here, that was sadly the only time my heart raced for ep 11.

After 11 weeks, it's safe to say now I'm no longer trusting GMMTV for anything after this. I will choose to keep my precious 2023 memories with my own Tinn Gun Sound Win Tiw Por Pat Yo.

I hope Gemini and Fourth still shine with their next projects, whether individually or as a couple. You guys are big now, kiddos, hope money will not be the only driving factor. Have some time to rest in between, study the projects better, voice your own opinions on matters, and more importantly have fun while you're young!

G4 made history once, and I'll forever be grateful for that. Don't be pressured to make history again so soon :) Last time I'm sure it took you guys 4 years after TSS2019, we can wait.

I was sincerely impressed with P'Au's directing style in MSP and then I was wowed because it was his first directing work.
I was so relieved to know Gem4th would get a second series with P'Au, even after the mess called Our Skyy MSP I still had high hope. Seriously, what happened to him? :( Sigh...

I... didn't like it as much as I wanted to again :( The coloring did get better just like ep7, but the directing style and especially the plot was still not improving much.

I guess they're trying to attract a younger crowd? But it broke my heart because I fell in love with how mature Tinn and Gun were... so now seeing them in immature characters just didn't hit it off as well for me.

I expected this series to be like Cooking Crush, but damn this is MUCH better

I live in Vietnam, not so far from Thailand, in a more or less LGBTQ+ friendly city as well. Despite the friendly culture, it's still a big trauma for gay/bi boys in high school to come out. There are so many factors that could go wrong (friends, family, society,...), at least in the mind of a 17 year old kid. To make things worse, there are always bullies who pick on sissy guys (and in MLMU they actually portrayed that in EP2 after the drama scene).

Now that I'm over 30, have saved up a lot of money and lived independently, I'm quite confident in coming out and honestly I do have the power to not care about how people will react (like the teacher and the pastry chef in MLMU). But for kids, hiding your identity is just another layer of self-protection that makes them feel safer. Being protected by the law doesn't mean you're safe from stereotypes and microaggression.

The transliteration of the Thai title of MSP was actually "My boyfriend is the school president" though :P so yeah if you translate the poster from Thai it will be "My boyfriend is a cat" which mirrors the Thai title

EP 7 was much better!!!! Ofc it's not perfect yet, but the coloring overall was nice, the music fits the scene really well, and the storytelling was paced better. They also added quite a lot of background introduction that helps with the pace. Thank you GMMTV and the editing team!

Anyway I came across this OPV that harmonizes the parallels of MLC MSP MLMU. Just wanna share because it was such a great edit, made me very emotional 555.

"I’m starting to think G4 themselves dgaf about this series" :( This hurts me but I can see that it might be true. Especially after seeing Gem criticizing the lip color and the amount of product placement in EP5.

GMM played dirty to G4 and KhunNoos so much this time. I don't know if this is an experiment to test on how loyal KhunNoos are or something but this is just mean to the fans who love G4 to their heart, especially the younger kids.

I tried it!!! It tastes like a decent lemon tea. It's not that much special for sure but it's not bad. I bought several in Bangkok, the bottles will have GemFourth's photo on it too. If you have a chance to fly to Thailand you can buy it and carry along to drink hahaha.

Thai series are notorious for product placements, people either love it or hate it, but the positive economic effect is real 55555

Being a KhunNoo since ep3 of MSP, following pretty much every event they're in and even flying to Bangkok to attend their concerts and fanmeetings, every week I ask myself a question, if I were a new fan who haven't followed Gem and Fot since last year and haven't known how amazing these two kids are, would I still tune in to MLMU?

Maybe? I still tune in to mediocre BL shows for fun (which I'm not naming to start wars, but everyone should agree there ARE mediocre shows). But I wouldn't be invested and obviously I wouldn't care about those shows, let alone coming to MDL to read comments section (so us fans should not worry that much about casual fans coming in here to read these posts)

For MLMU, it's different. I DO CARE. Because I'm a diehard fan of Gem and Fot. So:

- Do I think MLMU is a total abomination? Of course not. It does have a good plot, the OSTs are heavenly, and it does make me smile. That's a fact, so I'll ignore the troll comments saying this series is the worst show ever made before announcing that they will drop like a fake Miss Grand. If they have that much negativity in their life they don't deserve the GemFourth we know anyway.

- Will I defend MLMU to death? I don't think I can. Many people in the comments sections make valid criticism, and I hope GMMTV will read them (?) and learn from them. GeminiFourth did elevate the whole industry's standard for me through MLC and MSP, and I do want the quality of their shows to only get better. So I hope people tolerate constructive feedback on platforms like MDL, because those criticisms prob come from fans who care and wish Gemini and Fourth to grow in their careers. (But yes feel free to fight against the obvious antis that attack the show)

- Do I think MLMU made justice to Gemini and Fourth's talent? Nope. The coloring is not good, the BGM does not fit the scene as well as MSP's, the directing guidance for some scenes was not carried out well. It might improve in the last 6 eps with the supposedly new editing team, or it won't.

- Do I still support MLMU and GeminiFourth? Definitely yes, but I wouldn't hate on people who don't support the show. We can only manifest that the show will improve gradually, or that Gemini and Fourth will continue to shine in other works.
