Title Our Skyy 2
I want to think that the purpose of Our Skyy x MSP was to show us how perfect the original universe was and nothing could ever replace it. But I really can't because I'm literally so sad right now. How could they screw us up like this? -_- Watering down all the scenes that make MSP stand out is one thing, giving us no kiss is another. Well, I must say I enjoy WinSound more because at least they got some of the good scenes that were given to Tinn and Gun in the o.g. universe.

In 2 weeks, they will ruin Bad Buddy and ATOTS for us like this too?

Ever since the series was announced at the GMMTV event some two years ago, I took little interest in it and had…
I think the success of MSP (along with BBS and ITSAY, two other favorite shows of mine) lies in the intricate (and very wise) execution of the plot. You don't need any surprises, you don't need any drama. I'm sure everyone who watches MSP knows that Tinn and Gun will end up happy together. How can they not deserve a happy ending when every small detail of the story demonstrates why that ending makes sense and leads us to completely root for them? But "just because you know the ending, doesn't mean you can't enjoy the ride" :)

The problems/situations created in the show are also appropriate for their age (and for the current society). I could see a part of myself (and every of my friend) through the image of Gun juggling between family, friends, career choice, and a meaningful relationship at the age of 18. Even though Tinn may seem very mature for someone his age, but it's nowhere unrealistic, and I could see how I was (and still am) striving to become a mature and thoughtful partner like Tinn 10 years past that age :P

These stories may seem "cliched" for people, but I believe it's actually what most of us have faced in our life. After watching this, I reflected on myself and realized there were many times that I dramatized my problems, when in fact it could have been dealt with in a simpler way.

I hope other BL shows will learn from this, and build characters that everyone can relate to and fall in love with and learn from, rather than creating superficial forgetful characters that have little personality rather than being handsome and hot.

I saw fancams of the concert. I'm so jealous of everyone who saw them perform live.
I bought the live stream lol. Still jealous tho... One moment of hesitation and 1 day later all tickets were sold out -_-

The series was too ambitious. It tried to cover too much, if it was spread over a year or more and more episode…
To me the fighting makes sense though. We definitely expect more from the ones we love the most. In this case, Li Ming is still a teenager who is desperate to be independent (and despite failing at school, he actually is trying hard to find ways to achieve his dreams, from taking up jobs to researching on working abroad), so he would certainly be mad when Uncle Jim, arguably the most important person in his life, did not trust him nor respect his decisions. On the other hand, Lung Jim is a poor working man stuck with heavy responsibility of raising a kid that's not even his own, so it must be stressful to see his nephew performing badly at school and disturbing other people. And yes, there was no dramatic turning point in the series that explains why they stopped arguing, but that's also life, right? At one point both of them must have realized that what they did has hurt each other and decided to grow up and stop, hence Lung Jim's line about thanking Li Ming for teaching him how to be an adult.

Also I don't think they "get along perfectly" in the last ep. You can clearly see the distinction between Li Ming - Wen and Li Ming - Jim. Li Ming definitely loves Uncle Jim more, but is still quite shy and awkward when around him even after they made up, yet he's much more comfortable talking to Wen.
