Kept me on the edge of my seat!

!!SPOILERS!!
Best kdrama I've seen in years! I loved this drama from the first episode. It's incredibly suspenseful!! Part 1 was amazing and stop the hate for part 2, it was extremely important for the storyline to develop. I'm glad it didn't stay a high school story the whole drama.

The tea: Sorry not sorry but Taeyong was a jerk when he was a spoiled rich kid. He wasn't smart enough to go into business and he kept messing up his own life. Seungcheon did him a favor by switching their lives and fixed it for him. It wasn't a good environment for his mental health anyway, with those horrible "family" who gave him anxiety and ptsd :( He deserved a loving home like Seungcheon's family. And to actually achieve something with the only talent he has, drawing. I'm glad he kept/chose Seungcheons life.

People need to realize that Seungcheon's a good person and stop hating his desicion. Most times he switched lives to help his parents out of financial need, even when he didn't want to switch anymore :( And you can't deny that he's incredibly smart. He's born to be a business man and I'm glad he took the opportunity to use his talents. No one could stand up to the evil "dad" like he does! Seungcheon is SO brave and a better Taeyong!

But honestly no one deserves the false accusations and treatment from that rich family. I wish he could've gone back to his real family in the end and be Taeyong's brother.

Sadly the ending wasn't exactly as I had hoped it would be... He didn't reunite with his family. And I hate it when kdramas make the protagonist lose their memories :( Even though he walked away with his spoon STILL in his pocket. So maybe it's up for interpretation? If not for this ending, I would've given this drama a 10/10.
I highly recommend it and Sungjae is an amazing actor!!

Overrated but good actors

I'm glad the actors were good, or I wouldn't have finished this series. The story was boring and the main lead lady was creepy.
Overall, I expected a lot because of the hype, but the series was a bit weird, too slow, way too sad and overdramatic... Luckily there were some cute moments that made it less heartbreaking.

My episode reviews:
Ep 1 was very strange
Ep 2 was even stranger...
Ep 3 got interesting because of the mental hospital
Ep 4 was weird and sad :(
Ep 5 was a bit cute with the sleepover :)
Ep 6 was interesting because of the spooky castle
Ep 7 was very dramatic
Ep 8 finally got romantic and cute, stockholm syndrome
Ep 9 started with a cute vacation, then it became too dramatic
Ep 10 was just sad :(
Ep 11 was very cuteeee :)
Ep 12 was plain rude! -_- overdramatic and then got too sad
Ep 13 was cutee then too dramatic
Ep 14 Sad. At this point I didn't wanna watch anymore
Ep 15 got psycho... and sad again :(
Ep 16 was actually a good episode and funny :)

I'd say if you want a better mental health drama, watch "It's okay, that's love"
And if you want a similar dark fairytale story but more interesting, I'd recommend "Black knight"

Cutest romantic comedy, non-toxic BL with great music!

I think this is the best and cutest Thai BL I've ever seen 🥰 Just a feel good rom com, nothing more nothing less. You can't compare it to the other dramatic ones with lots of fighting, violence and gangs... Cutie Pie isn't like that. There's no killing or stabbing or toxic gangster love. This series is more of a slice of life kind of love, very relaxing to watch. There should be more normal and low key BL's like this.

Things I liked:
In the trailer you can already see how great the production for this drama was. Just like the actors said, it looks as high production and cinematicly filmed as Korean dramas, which makes it very high quality.
The music is amazing! There's a lot of catchy songs sung by NuNew, he has a great voice. It really added more touch to the series and stays in your head. I loved it when he sang or drummed, it made him look extra cool!
There's also a lot of cute romantic scenes and lots of kissing! hehe... definitely worth watching ;)
Zee's acting was spot on! He portrayed his role really well and intimidating. Exactly how a business man should be. I'd be scared of him too lol. Zee was so serious here, not like in real life at all. Because he's really funny irl!
And I love the other couples side-stories as well. But nothing had more chemistry than Zee and Nunew ♥ As they are dating irl, you can really notice the love and chemistry in this series! They showed it so well, I felt their love.

The only thing I didn't like:
In my personal opinion, about the storyline... I think they made Kuea's role a bit too bratty. Through the whole series he was a fickle moody little boy in my opinion. Especially when Hia is so perfect and nice to him! Even I got mad at Kuea... But Hia never does, he is the perfect boyfriend. But maybe you'll have another view on it as you watch it. It's just my opinion, not a fact.
Overall, this is my favorite Thai BL so far ♥ and my favorite couple as well. Give it a watch if you wanna relax or laugh! :)

Not steamy but a heartwarming BL about REAL issues

From the title alone, don't expect much NC scenes. There was a few in the beginning, they were very mild in my opinion and not bad. But after a few episodes it stops and turns into a serious story ♥ With all kind of REAL issues (and not silly ones like in other dramas). This show's about childhood trauma, family issues, bad parents, abuse, mental health etc... This one really sticks out to me since it's more realistic.

Finally a good Thai BL! I recommend watching more than 3-4 episodes to get to the real story. When we discover everything Uea has been through... we see that King is always there to comfort him and accept his mental health issues ♥ King is a serious GREEN FLAG! And very handsome too lol. I loved their chemistry! It's definitely there and once they start dating they are SO CUTE together! Just wait and see ;)

I expected more tbh

Another "ex is back" story just like the movie "Un/happy for you" also from 2024... But at least this one has a good ending. Filipinos working in Hong Kong, now Filipinos working in Canada. My parents also met in Hong Kong (besides the point but) I like that it's very realistic about how difficult it can be for hardworking Filipinos abroad. The lovestory was a bit less realistic... The first movie was definitely better. I would've given it a lower score if it wasn't for the ending making everything worth it :) Great actors obviously. But I won't watch it again

Nice simple movie with a special story

I really liked the movie. Most of the time it was very relaxing and easy going to watch. The music was beautiful and the way they filmed the scenes looked very good! I especially liked the romantic moments and the actress as well :) It starts slow paced and reminds me of simple anime movies of the 80's. I didn't understand some of the story, but in the end there's a plottwist and so I finally understood. It's not bad at all and I would recommend if you like chill old movies. I watched in on kissasian.video

Very cute romantic movie, not scary

I really liked it! But if you're expecting a real horror movie, of course you'll be dissapointed...
This is a cute BL movie with a ghost and some thrilling moments. That's it :) Acknowledging that, it's good enough!
I especially loved the romantic scenes ♥ Zee is a good actor and has great chemistry with NuNew.
Their lovestory was really nice and the piano music made it feel very romantic! Good choice of soundtrack.
The story of the ghost was less interesting... But I know enough about ghosts that sometimes it IS best to talk it out.
I'm happy it was similar to Cutiepie and to see these in another story together. I fell all kinds of emotions watching this!
I would watch it again, but the uncut version. If you guys wanna watch an actual horror movie, I suggest not watching this lol.

Too slow paced and overrated

After 3 episode of pure boring storyline and characters without much personality, finally in episode 4 something cute happens. I wish there was more scenes between the two of the boys :( especially in the beginning. They barely have any scenes together in the first half of the drama! which makes it hard to see/feel any chemistry or romantic connection between them... Way too much focus on the other side characters. I liked the owner of the bar lady tho :) I watched and waited for it to get interesting. At least it got romantic, but the story itself doesn't get interesting enough... They try to make it about mental health a bit, but don't touch upon it as much as they should. The problems they did face, are accurate with mental health issues. But his therapist is a just bad psychologist :( Sometimes the boys act toxic towards each other. Which I would also blame on mental health issues in relationships. Been there done that, it gets messy and that was very accurate in the story. At least the actors have chemistry in *some* scenes but I don't know why I had to enter my pin to watch this drama... Viki said it's 18+ lol.
